I have been ordering and picking up platters of food for my church every Saturday for almost 2 years. Deanna is the lady that prepares my platters and I have to say they are always picture perfect. If there is ever an issue about having something I ordered, the substitution is as close as possible to the item missing. I would never have known had she not told me! This neighborhood Publix is a reliable spot, especially because of its fantastic pharmacy and knowledgeable pharmacist, who’s always helpful, friendly, and willing to answer any questions you have. The pharmacy staff are efficient, so prescriptions are filled quickly, making it a great choice for those who prioritize good service. However, the store itself is on the smaller side, which can feel a bit cramped, especially during peak hours. It’s often quite busy, so navigating the aisles can be challenging, and certain items may run out more quickly. Despite its size, the quality of service makes it worth visiting.

It’s a nice little grocery store in the East Hill neighborhood of Pensacola. The architecture of the building fits nicely with the neighborhood. It is a bit smaller than most Publix stores, so selection can be more limited on some items.

Its a neighborhood Publix, the selection is a little smaller than other Publix in town, but I love this store. Always clean, super friendly staff, and good layout. Always 5 star

Came here as usual to buy my groceries. Instead, I got harassed by the manager on shift and the police called on me. The reason? I was wearing a backpack. Mind you, I bike to this store since it is about half a mile away from my house so a backpack is kind of necessary.
Manager lady on shift (Dolly) said in the police call that I was "suspiciously walking around with several packs of meat" when in reality all I had was one tray of chicken (that was in discount) Also, this lady went out of her way just to say to the police that she had caught me before shoplifting, which is news to me since that has never happened.
On the bright side, I went to two different locations of the chain with the same outfit and backpack, and guess what? I was not questioned, harassed, or had the police called on me. In fact, they were friendly. Therefore, the manager at East Hill is just incompetent.
I went ahead and contacted Publix through their channels but they did not even respond. Basically, Publix does not care about their customer's concerns as long as they are not losing money.
Imagine lying to the police though. Is that an acceptable thing around East Hill?

Shopping here is always convenient for East Hill residents. Good produce selection, nice ready to eat food, and their frozen dessert selection is immense! I get food from the hot line or sandwich station and eat it there. There is a patio for when the weather is nice.

Will go again and often.

I love shopping at this Publix!! Hopefully these pictures will tell you a lot about the choices Publix makes. I believe their choices are GOOD ones. Their produce is very fresh and a better quality then the other stores. They also stock specialty items that other stores don't have. The only thing I wish it that they would take the artificial dyes out of their brand of cheeses, especially the Extra Sharp Cheddar. If we all called and told them how we felt I believe they would. I've already called...hope you do too. Other than that I give Publix a 5 star rating!!! Awesome staff as well!!!
