This Publix has the best selection of products out of the locations near me. They have a particularly good selection of grain-free cat food, which ends up sending me to this location in particular quite often even though it isn't the closest to me.

Racist treatment against Latinos.
I have been to this Publix multiple times. Every time I feel there is a weird vibe from some of the employees, which most happen to be white. I recently went to check out and there was only one customer in front of me. The cashier Karin, started talking to the customer in front of me on how blonde was the best hair color and unfortunately, according to her, black hair dominated blonde, she kept looking at me. And giving me nasty looks. They both took their time to scan and pay and continued talking about how white skin and blonde hair was simply superior. When it was my turn I said “good morning” and Karin didn’t even reply to me. She ignored me and the bagger replied “hello” and at least was nicer. It was a clear contrast to how she was treating the previous customer. She never spoke to me and when I paid she basically threw the receipt at me. Totally disrespectful, unprofessional and uncalled for. Never shopping here again.

The prepared food department staff aren’t very friendly. They get upset when you ask them to prepare chicken. At 6pm it seems as though they should have it prepared. But they never do. So frustrating!

The picture is what they have for the dinner time crowd. SMH!!

I shop at the Publix on Mineola in Clermont Florida which is amazing but this Publix was the worst. Manager was rude cashier was the rudest made me pull my own receipt from the cash register or as they say now in days be POV I guess. I will not be going back here

The more I visit Publix the more I experience racism and rudeness.I visit and I get followed or watched for no reason until I pay.i guess being black doesn’t EVEN get you hospitality anymore there. I experience rude young teens too much at this Publix. Can’t even count your change back of 21 cent but would rather glaze over it like you’re illiterate. But even asking to get someone with a bit more sense didn’t help. She gaslighted me about having only 32 cents over-don’t you think you owe me 21 of those.
After telling her if she thinks I stole something without a receipt and carrying my items in YOUR bags-wouldn’t you need to call the law or something. I know you give gift cards too. But yes/no I won’t be shopping this Publix anyway-ANYMORE
