Prices may be a little higher than other stores in the area but the staff is so friendly and helpful and they have great sales on common products. Strawberries were so delicious that I plan to make a separate trip back to get more. Store is clean and organized and well stocked with many specialty items. Would highly recommend.

This is by far the worst Publix I’ve ever been to…specifically the worst Deli to exist. We have ordered subs from this store 3 times in the past 2 weeks. The first time, they called us 10 minutes before our order was due to tell us they had no chicken tenders that day which was on both subs we ordered. No subs at 12pm on a Saturday? Strange but okay. Later that week, we tried again. I showed up 5 minutes after my order was due, no subs in the pick up area. The worker notified me they just finished cooking the chicken tenders. Okay no problem. I walked around the store to find a couple more things. I came back and stood in the deli for another 5 minutes before the worker came back. She tells me they don’t have the buffalo sauce for one of the subs. I said you don’t have any buffalo sauce? She said no. I said we’re in a grocery store and you’re telling me there’s no buffalo sauce in this store. She laughed and said we’re not allowed to take off the shelf. I find that hard to believe but okay. I said let me call my husband and see if he wants something else. She said okay I’ll get started on the other sandwich then. I laugh to myself because it’s been 10 minutes since she told me the chicken tenders were done. Not sure what she’s been doing since then. I ended up not getting my two subs until close to 30 minutes after they were due for pick up. Today is my final straw with this deli. We ordered the same subs. We come to the store and to my surprise, they’re actually ready in the pick up area. We grabbed a few more items and headed home only to find that they made one sub correct and the other completely wrong. My husband who orders a basic buffalo ranch chicken tender sub somehow has all the toppings from my wrap on his sub which includes pickles and banana peppers which he hates. I can definitely give Grace for a bad day or a mix up every once in awhile but it clear that I can’t trust this deli to have the ingredients for my subs, for my subs to be ready on time, or for them to even be accurate.

I’ve never reviewed a grocery store before. But this one was so exceptional, I had to. Every single staff member was kind and helpful and friendly and polite. The produce section was exceptionally well put together and displayed. Every item was lined up perfectly. I have no doubt the shelves looked the same. My checkout was quick even though there were many people. When my card didn’t work in the machine, she came around and made multiple attempts to assist me and was patient and kind. (The issue was on my end, not hers). I am not from this area but would look forward to coming here if it were the one near me.

No big deal. Hard to get some of the stalker’s attention because they are all listening to music and their earbuds and they don’t wanna be bothered. Very disappointing.

Stopped in to buy something and noticed my mountain dew 6/16.9oz were on sale but to get 2 but they wanted $8.99 for each pack when I can go to Walmart and get them for $3.98 a piece not worth the experience like the lady at customer service tried explaining

I had been buying at Publix for many years, from South Florida to all middle and north Florida, Publix has always exceeded my expectations, the quality and customer service it’s incomparable.
But today I feel the need to write a not so good review about an unfortunate event that occurred today April 5th 2025, about 8:30am.
When I walk out of the store with the groceries and shopping cart, I was about to return the cart to the designated area when I saw a black girl picking up the carts to bring them inside, so I ask her politely “can you take my cart?” She was pushing about 4 carts, but instead she look at me with pure hatred on her eyes and she didn’t even respond, I ask her two more times but she again didn’t respond at all and keeps looking at me with hate, she took the cart but she never respond or say anything, I’d just say to her thank you, she just walk away mad.
One of the things that always impressed me about Publix is the kind, polite and professional personnel they hire, it’s always a pleasure to buy at Publix with people attending with an smile.
This specific store is located in Sun City Center, FL.
It’s not fair that for one employee with a reprochable attitude all the store has to be negatively reviewed.

This A.M. I went to the sun City Center Publix and when I was loading my service mobility K9 I forgot my igloo cup on the roof of my car and I was chased down by zandra ( I think) across the entire parking lot just to make sure I still have my cup! That's top quality work by this young lady everyone should use her example of going above and beyond!!! Thanks A BUNCH

It's a typical Publix- bright, clean, well stocked, with helpful and cheery staff. Now that the area has "grown up" significantly, size-wise, it would be great if they could find a way to enlarge it and broaden the selection like other Publix stores.
