I’ve been a loyal Publix customer for years and have always loved the friendly staff and great service. I discovered that you can get bacon cooked in-store (around 20 slices) if you want to make breakfast for the family without your house smelling like bacon. I loved this option!

However, I was recently informed that there’s no dedicated charge code for cooked bacon slices, even though I’ve been charged for it (around the price of a bag of bacon from the shelf) for the past month and a half. To work around this, I now order a BLT with nothing in it—just bacon. For $9.49, you get 16 slices of bacon plus toasted bread, which you can slice and share with the family. It would be nice if there were an official way to order cooked bacon slices directly.. I mean if Wawa which is primarily a gas station can do it, why not Publix.

I believe I talked to a manager, and he said they were going to try to get corporate to create something. So, corporate, if you’re reading this—please make it happen! 🙂

It’s a little weird, though, because you can get things steamed and glazed, but not bacon cooked.

On another note, I love their cheesecakes, pan con queso (get there around 8 AM for fresh ones!), cookies, and croissants. Everything is always delicious and fresh.

Publix is also my pharmacy, and I absolutely love them. They have a super-fast turnaround and are always so helpful!

Overall, I love this store and its staff, and I’ll definitely continue coming here. Just hoping they might consider adding a charge code for cooked bacon in the future!

So nice when they open the second register and take the people behind someone who’s been waiting a long time. Two people got checked out before I could get out of there after waiting way too long. Managers need to watch the lanes and teach employees how to open their registers and serve the people who have been waiting way too long.

Good location. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, they need better quality control. Several occasions when items that were purchased off the shelf were already expired. Also their prices have really increased.

I love this location. The employees our friendly, the store is very clean and the layout is very well organized. This location also newer self checkout lines which make it nice and online deli ordering. I highly recommend this location.

Do not buy any cooked food from the Deli department. It's actually pretty disgusting. I've tried it more than three times, and I ended up throwing it away every single time. I don't know who the managers are, but I can tell you they're not doing it right. It was very unpleasurable, which goes against the company motto. And all for what? A dollar? Come on now. I'd rather go to McDonalds as bad as that can be. My two cents.
