Publix is a fantastic chain and this one stands out with exceptional cleanliness throughout the store and very friendly/helpful staff. They have pretty much anything you could possibly want a grocery store to stock and then some. I can't remember a time where I've been stuck in line at Publix and that is a great indicator of their efficiency and commitment to an overall positive customer experience. Also, if you haven't tried their hot lunches, salad bar or soup bar, or even their deli sandwiches, then you are missing out on many great healthy and affordable meals. It's a great location with a huge selection-what more can you ask for?

Never written a review before but a women named Kelli came up to me the moment i walked into the store when i was with my friends who were all wearing clothes and I had pants on with a bikini top (this location is so close to the beach it’s basically on the beach) she then proceeded to tell me in a incredibly rude tone that I needed to leave if I didn’t have a shirt. I thought she was KIDDING so I asked if she was joking and she said no I’m not. She was incredibly rude to me (a 17 year old girl). So nothing wrong with Publix but KELLI PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOULD NOT BE EMPLOYED. Disrespectfully stop being a freak🩷

I absolutely love Publix the only issue is they are so expensive compared to most stores. But the pub sub is where it's at! If you never had one i suggest you do!! They are great! I always get boars head

From color-matched icing to the decadent banana crème cake filling, I loved our cake and cupcakes! I brought in my David’s Bridal fabric swatches to have them color-matched & wow they did a phenomenal job! I chose to only do the filling for our cake and have vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, all with buttercream frosting. The banana crème filling is 10/10!!! The tastings are free & you get several flavor combos to sample, so you can make a choice more easily! It was easy to call and setup the tasting as well as the pickup/delivery. We had it delivered without a hitch! Thank you!!
*Disclaimer: My mom and Maid of Honor added the decor pieces to the cake, as I was very specific about the decorations I wanted to use. I was informed by a bakery team member that Publix is only allowed to use their own decor for safety purposes.

Oh yeah, it's a publix. It's big, it's clean, it's got a deli and they'll make you sandwiches and stuff. Get yourself a pub sub and savor the flavor of Florida life.

A great place to shop at for all your grocery and other needs. The deli, meat, and bakery are great. Publix is more expensive than Walmart, but it is better quality goods and service. Sadly, it doesn'thave an upper seating area where you can eat a meal. They only have one bathroom each and maybe a family private bathroom, which is not much and can get crowded. Would definitely recommend this Publix for only shopping and nothing else.

It’s saddens me to write A negative review But it is needed. I have given up on every single Publix besides the one in Osprey the small one that is always beautiful, organized, and friendly staff..

I have had terrible experiences at several other locations. Today I was at the Publix on Venice Island, and again it upsets me to write this, but there was an elderly. Cashier and he was frustrated as it was Time for his lunch break and they have a new system and he was very, very frustrated

I attempted To make jokes to lighten him up and tell him, there’s no rush to take his time. Well, he couldn’t ring my things up and the next thing I know this man, he was digging through his trashcan and I said, sir, what are you looking for? Could you please just ring up my items and he yelled loudly No, I can’t!!!! The system is acting up and I said, but what does that mean why? Why do you have to dig through a trashcan?

He had a very scary look on his face, and his hands were waving everywhere, and I was flinching and picked up the onion and said your onion fell in the garbage can And I said I don’t want an item that was dug through the trashcan and he threw the red onion at The young man who was bagging and said get her a new onion and I abruptly said absolutely not take it out of the produce bag and I’ll put it in a Publix bag

At this point, I was shaking I was triggered from past trauma And was nauseous.. The boy bagging my groceries was talking a lot to me. I think he was stressed and he was young and the Manager that came over to help me scolded the young man in front of me and other customers.

He told the cashier to leave and go on his break and he said to the young boy that’s enough be quiet. None of that should’ve been done in front of guests. I am appalled and not going back to that Publix as well as the one in Laurel Nokomis!

Has really gone downhill.

Blew my mind how expansive Publix is. I’ve always grocery shopped at Walmart. These prices at Publix are criminal!! They are legit almost double the price on everything. It’s unreal. I live right next door to a Publix too. They should be ashamed.
