This store is by far the worst in this area. I’m not sure how Sharon is still the manager here. They cook all the party wings hot/spicy so that they sell slow. They never put out plain breaded. And when you ask them for some they tell you you have to wait an hour just so they won’t have to cook it. Tried talking to the manager and she is really nasty and unprofessional.
I have already had to file a complaint on the store before because they filled my 8-piece box of chicken with chicken tenders. I never buy subs because you’ll be there for days waiting on n a sub.
Worst store in Coconut Creek area by far 👎🏽

2 Stars because I’m trying to make a point.

I shop at this Publix weekly. Little to no issues with grocery shopping.

My beef is with the deli dept.
I get a PubSub about 2-3 times/month.
Each time, the crew there is so … dead! Rachelle. Mezerline. Others. It’s like they could care less working there, let alone serving others, or maybe they hate being there.
Barely even a “Hello. How can’t I help?” “Hello. How are you”. “Thank you Sir/Mam”.
Nothing!

Why are you working there?
Why do you dislike people that much?

They seem to like each other well enough. It’s like, their club … everyone else, the customers, seem to be simply interrupting their day.

My suggestion is, stay backstage.

Publix: Train your employees to treat the customers with some level of politeness and courtesy, so we don’t feel like WE are the ones doing something wrong, like disturbing your employees to make a sandwich.

Typical publix. They've begun to get sloppy. For 6 months they Pinapple Coring machine has been broken so they prefer to sell the pre cubed pineapple to us at a premium

Same excuse now. We live in the US and the mighty publix cannot buy a pineapple people device

Somewhat More expensive (except sale items)than Walmart and fewer choices on some items but a vastly more pleasant shopping experience. Easier parking , cleaner..nicer store. Not crowded.

Well, as I approach the counter. Nobody acknowledged that I was there for 10 min.
I jokingly said wow everytime I come in here, everybody is too busy to help me.
NOBODY STILL DIDN'T SAY ONE WORD NOT EVEN A SMILE OR A " I WILL BE WITH YOU IN A SECOND! NOTHING

Since 1993, Publix is where I've always shopped. That will never change. Great company, helpful and friendly employees. Definitely a fine supermarket.

For the past 2 months, I have noticed the cashier/ customer service manager with a bad attitude and demeanor, and most of the publix managers lately have not been really giving that great customer service experience they usually promote. Today, I had one of the nice girls watching self checkout, ask management if the new ad was out already. She said she would ask her manager to double-check for me because she couldn't find it. When she got there and asked, as I was watching her ask, I saw the manager give me a mean face and gave me a look like she was disgusted. She was standing playing on her phone with another employee when the young lady asked. I don't know if she understands what her role means in the company, in this store, and in front of her coworkers, but I'm a manager, and that doesn't look good to me. The second time was about 2-3 weeks ago, where I asked to return an item because the right price shown for the item was not given, and she gave me an attitude the whole time.
It's already bad enough sometimes I feel like because of your skin tone they eye ball you more, but I have been shopping here since I moved up here and this is not what I used to see. Definite changes need to happen so that the few people don't reflect the character of the whole store. I dont know her name, and normally, I would ask, but I was rushing out. (She is a heavier set, Caucasian woman with black glasses. Her hair is usually in a bun and she wears a green shirt)
