I have been wearing Thorogoods for years and decided it was time for a change as for some weird reason, the boots started to hurt my feet very badly.

Chris was the gentleman that helped me with my purchase and he made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I am now on week 3 of wearing these boots and they are amazing! thanks for all your help Chris!

The people at the stores have been great but what’s happened to the quality? The pair on the rt I’ve gotten 2-3 yrs of work out of while the pair on the left have about 6months work time on em. I’ve been happy with redwings for the last 5 pairs but with these two “exact” same pairs the difference in quality is obvious.

By far, the worst experience EVER!
To be honest, I don't even know where to start.
Have you ever had such a bad experience that made you believe that the person behind the counter is a bad person? That was my experience at the El Cajon location.

After spending about 100 dollars for the wrong size of shoe's I was told by Chris that there's nothing that he can do to help.
He told me that because I was changing the size, he needed to make notes on the system in order for me to get the size that I was requesting. I realized two weeks later that he gave me the wrong size again.

I had to tell Chris that it is bad business to make customers go back and forward and waste their time and money. The worst part is that he thinks that he was just trying to help me.

I told Chris that he is a bad person and he has a problem with his heart. I firmly believe that. Hopefully, he can see this review and improve on his customer service. I am hoping to get a phone call from RedWings since I am going to file a formal complaint about my visit.
I am home and still don't have the right size of boots that I paid for. I am not asking for money or refunds.
The whole bad experience happened in four visits.

I went in to get some boots for my new job and was a bit nervous since I've never found a pair to fit right. Pablo immediately explained that the scan machine was down and apologized for the inconvenience but said he could get me taken care of the old-fashioned way. He asked me a few questions about my current shoes and what size I think my foot was. I knew what boot I was looking for per recommendation from family and friends, so he said he would check to see what was in stock and be right back. He came out with one pair and to my surprise the fit was amazing! My foot is not cramed, and the boot is not oversized. Pablo really knows his stuff. If you have any doubt about what boots or if they will fit right, make sure you see Pablo at Red Wing. He will have you in the right boot in no time. Thanks for everything Pablo, you have a customer for life now.

Visiting from the UK. I would like to say a big thank you to Christopher who helped me find the right fit and select the boots I was looking for. He was very professional from start to finish. Nice little store with a friendly atmosphere.
