The Redstone Arsenal Thrift Shop is located at 3209 Hercules Rd on Redstone Arsenal. The Thrift Store is open on Tuesday from 9am - 4pm, Wednesday from 9am - 4pm, Thursday from 9am - 5pm and the first Saturday of the month from 10am -2pm.

The Thrift Shop is managed by volunteers who are very polite and knowledgable about the consignment items. There is something for everyone in this thrift shop. Although it may be small compared to other thrift shops in town, it is convenient if you work, visit or life on Redstone Arsenal.

There are clothing sections for men's clothing, women's clothing and children's clothing. There are sections that display household items such as electronics, pot and pans and other kitchen items. There are areas for decorative nick racks and items for home decor. There is a sections for children's indoor and outdoor toys.

All prices are very reasonable and there are special also areas for items that have been on consignment for a while and are discounted by 50% or more. If you're on the Arsenal the thrift shop is just North of the One Stop (building 3494) where the ID/CAC card and driver licenses are issued.

The volunteer staff at this Thrift Shop always make yours a pleasant visit. The store is arranged in a well-planned way and there's usually a wide range of items to choose from. Well done, Redstone Thrift Shop. I'll be back.

I have been going to Redstone Thrift Shop for years. It is my favorite Thrift/Consignment Shop. It is neat and clean. Merchandise is kept for several weeks and then moved to the 50% off section. Therefore, it is not over crowded and merchandise is moved through and new merchandise is always coming in.

It is only open Tueday, Wednesday, Thursday and the 1st Saturday of each month, so keep that in mind. It also closes for 2 weeks for Christmas/New Years since most workers are volunteers. Other than that, it is worth the trip. I always try to make my appointments for a day it is open, so I can stop by when in the area.

I've enjoyed going for many years. There shouldn't be any negative post on here about pricing and quality. I believe the thrift store is set up for the military families have a place to sell there goods when they are moving to and from base. A purchase from the store will help our military families.

I enjoy shopping at the Redstone Thrift store. They always tidbits that I can add to my home and clothes that fit me. They have a variety of items that are well kept and inexpensive. It's a delightful environment and well kept.

Sometimes prices seem pretty expensive but we'll go every so often to check out what they have. The people that work there are really nice. I know some are volunteers.
