I find it so depressing to shop for furniture today and see all of the mass produced stuff that is out there. I could not be happier with the little vintage piece that Micaiah transformed for me. I found it in thrift shop, provided a picture for inspiration and it came out beautifully!

Micaiah did beautiful touch-up work on my mango wood table! I had a little of what appeared to be paint on my new table and a few small areas with a gummy substance. I had waited so long for the table which was on back order for months, so we decided to take it because the dealer said we could go to a hardware store, which we did to ask advice for something to help remove these few issues. We went to one of the best-known hardware stores. They suggested "goof off" for removing these issues, DO NOT USE THIS STUFF ON YOUR WOOD FURNITURE. We did, it removed the wood stain in one of the areas which left a visibly noticeable light spot on the surface, and dulled the finish in the other areas. Micaiah was able to use a combination of her artistic eye and talents, and woodworking skills to make these areas undetectable! She is truly gifted and has a passion for her work that shows!?

She was the only one in the area that could do this, with fair and affordable pricing. I appreciate her, this place is truly a gem. I am thankful I found them and I am counting my blessings

I took Micayah a 50+ yr old Secretary desk that belonged to my grandparents that had been sitting in the doorway of my cousins' home near Ocean Beach in SF for the last 30 years. It smelled moldy and needed some TLC. When I saw the desk after Micayah worked her magic, I was close to tears! It was exactly the color I remember it being when it was in my grandparents home! Micayah does beautiful work and the price was well worth what I received in return.

We purchased a 50-60 year old family table
that had a leaf in side (versus leaf you store separately). The color on the leaf was a gorgeous color and far different from the rest of the table which was sun bleached and had deep scratches. We had a hard time determining what the color of the table was let alone the type of wood it was. The table came with six chairs one of which was broken. Another family member tried to fix it, but was unable to do it.
Micaiah took this table and chair. She listened to what I wanted to have as a final product. I did not want a high gloss table that showed scratches and watermarks. What I got from Micaiah was a finished table with no high gloss but a very durable top. Due to the product Micaiah used , I only use a wrag with water and dry it off. The table matches the leaf insert perfectly! And the chair, you cannot even see where it was broken. I would highly recommend Restore and Rework to anyone. The price for what we received was definitely more than fair! We are a very happy client

What a fortunate find!

I asked on the Pleasanton Rants and Raves for for a reputable and reasonably priced furniture repair place. Micaiah from Restore and Rework was highly recommended, and I can see why. She restored my 1940’s mahogany dresser beautifully. It’s top was badly damaged by nail polish remover and with her magic there is no trace ! All for a very low price compared to other places.
