I got married today! The story goes that my boyfriend printed a fake wedding invitation and had it on our fridge for 2 months for his friend's wedding today. He also called my job and told my manager to give me today off. I'm an ER Veterinarian it's very difficult for me to get a day off so he really must have given them a hard time. We drove 4 hours from Oklahoma to get to his friend's wedding today, only for there to not be a wedding at all. He got down on one knee and proposed in front of the chapel. He then informed me that we were going to be getting married at that chapel in 3 short hours. We went to the courthouse and filed papers. Then we went and got him a ring. But of course, I did not have a dress. So I called Royalty Formals and Samantha answered the phone like an angel. I told her what my man had gotten us into and she said no problem. She wasn't even at the store. She packed up her kiddos and came in to help me. I tried on some beautiful dresses before I picked one and then got married in it. Thank the lord it fit me. But Sam had the seamstress come in on last minute notice to help me out in case it didn't. She buttoned me up and put a veil in my hair and then I went off and got married to a wonderful man in a beautiful dress.

From shopping here at Royalty Formal and and Royalty Formal’s sister store, Violet’s Bridal and Formal, the differences of the two are obvious. While Royalty Formals is smaller in size, their customer service, and interaction from the owner is astronomical. While at their shop, I was greeted by Samantha and her employees, with the utter most joy and excitement, paired with an amazing, welcoming vibe. They helped me find perfect dresses for my body shape, and colors that also matched my skin tone. The only thing, is I wish this shop would have more inclusive sizes, for women and girls who have a bit more than others. Now onto Violet’s Bridal and Formal. Yes, this shop is much bigger, but how myself and my mother were greeted was below standard. Since Violet’s usually requires appointments, I was expecting to be catered too, and while I was appointed a stylist, she was, respectfully, not very helpful, other than bringing a few dresses to the changing room, and helping me unzip and re-zip the dresses, which is required of them to do. This shop, despite its large size, was not very size inclusive in its formal dress section. Now, while the owner herself was there, she did not greet myself nor my mother, whom was with me, but ignored us, and continued to walk past us to to greet the customer right next to us. While I did end up purchasing a dress from Violet’s, I severely wish I could have given my business to a, in my opinion, a more deserving business. These major differences is what sets these two establishments apart, and why I would recommend Royalty Formal’s, over Violets Bridal and Formal, any day of the week.

We recently purchased a Homecoming dress for my daughter. My daughter found a dress she absolutly loved. We were able to make payments from the time we chose the dress until the day we picked it up. We will probably come back again for prom as well.

Consigned a dress here and were pleased with the transaction. Super easy. Owner communicated with us and even made alterations to make the sale happen. Will for sure use them in the future. Highly recommend!

We went to look for a homecoming dress but ended up also purchasing a prom dress. The prices were excellent and so many to choose from! Fantastic customer service!
