I ordered my 2025 Maverick Lariat in the fall directly with Lars, the co-owner of Salinas Valley Ford. The process was very transparent and the truck was delivered exactly as ordered. When I learned that the truck was available for pick up, Lars’ staff (Iris) jumped into action and was extremely helpful, she collected the remaining information from me over the phone, and provided me with updates throughout the afternoon to keep me in the loop. When my family and I arrived to take delivery, Iris was waiting for me, walked me through the key functions in the truck, and took me out for a test drive. Once we returned, she handed me and my wife over to Katie in finance, and Katie had all the paperwork ready to go. We signed some documents, I wrote the check to pay it off, and we were out the door - end-to-end - in less than 45 minutes. It was by far the finest car buying experience I’ve had in the 35 years I’ve been driving and owning vehicles. Should I buy another Ford in the future, I’ll be buying it from Lars and Salinas Valley Ford!

My name is Alouis Martin, on the morning of Friday, October 25, at about 1030am I reached out via cars.com to your dealership for an inquiry on a 2024 F250 Lariat. I was immediately contacted via email by Manuel Garcia. After a short conversation, Manny went out and put hands on the truck and sent me a couple pictures to verify the truck I was interested is in fact on your lot and available for purchase.
Shortly after that, I received a phone call from Manny asking me the normal salesman questions, how soon am I ready to buy?, Etc. etc. I informed him if he can put a deal together today I’ll come out today and buy it.
Manny emailed me the credit app, I informed him I was preapproved for gold one credit union, but I was willing to let them shop for a better rate. I filled out that app and requested and submitted it. Once submitted, I spoke to Alex and Richard in finance we discussed a few things and one thing to another. He was able to get a hold of Golden 1 and get my preapproval interest rate lowered from 7.94% to 7.54% and we were in business with a new approval. Alex went out of his way and contacted his Costco rep to give me a discount on my Ford extended warranty, which was much appreciated. In a nutshell, I told him what I needed what I wanted they took care of it! I am a no nonsense kinda guy and I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciated every staff member understanding that and I got no cheese ball car salesman of the old days BS. Lol
I want to express my gratitude , this was a very stressless, seamless, and effortless purchase made possible by your professional, courteous and friendly staff. by 4 o’clock, we had our E-Docs signed and we were headed from Newman (North of Los Banos)to Sallinas to pick up my new truck. Upon arrival to the dealership and meeting Manny in person we instantly clicked. He’s a cool kid and understands what his customers need and I feel he has a pretty good read on people. Richard made sure that Manny took care of the truck had it fueled up and detailed and ready to go when we got there around 6:30 PM . It’s a long drive for us, but I would do it every day of the week to receive the customer service that I received from your staff. From start to finish my wife and I had an amazing experience with your dealership there Sallinas Valley Ford.

The office staff and mechanics provided great customer service. My car was serviced within the quoted time and I was informed when the vehicle was ready. Best part of the service was that I was able to use a loaned vehicle so I didn't have to sit and wait. Kudos to the staff!
