As an immigrant,POC and lesbian, my wife and I have never encountered any discrimination in this store. We come every Saturday during the farmers market.**

***Edit (7/23): owner called and profusely apologized said she did not agree with the way her with her employee response.
I appreciated the way she handled it and hope it was genuine as Brentwood is a place I love and hope is inclusive of all. Unfortunately I personally would not come back due to last experience here
Accused of stealing twice* (Am a POC) Have been here a couple of times and bought a few items over the past few years. Went in to browse picked up some candles walked around and put them back. Walked out without any items, worker follows us to sip and scoops and asked if we took candle we say no. We go to another store and she again walks in and says “are you sure they were 4 and nows there’s 3”, when we were there they’re only 3. I show her my backpack because now at this point I’m embarrassed and want to show I really do not have them.

Salt & Fig placed an order with us in Jan 2023. We shipped the products to them from the UK but unfortunately, they haven't made payment for the invoice. We've chased up multiple times, but no response. The invoice value is £218.50, and we are a small business. I will be happy to take this down when payment has cleared. You are also posting on Instagram using our products.

Update: I have emailed over the invoice to you again today. You also have a paypal link included to make payment easily. Can you please make payment as the outlay for us to purchase the goods and also pay to ship to you in America is very costly. Please do the right thing and I will remove this post

I just Love this store! it has a country feeling and they have my favorite scones. plus the ladies who worked there are very friendly and helpful.
