Gosh, the people who work here are so nice😊! Not easy to find that in a bargain store these days. The store is very large, it doesn’t feel cramped like, for instance, TJ Mx or Ross and the clothes, shoes , accessories and home goods are nicer too! A huge selection. I did find it a bit pricey for some items, while others were very reasonable. For example, I found a soft-as-butter 100% leather hip length jacket for $29.99(!) and a Gap heavy denim jacket for $12.50! On the other end of the spectrum they have a tiny $1,300ish purse of a brand I’ve never even heard of 😆 Sandy’s also sells some pretty awesome furniture, dishes, wall art, rugs, etc.
Bottom line? If you don’t mind used, I recommend you give Sandy’s Savvy Chic Boutique a look.

This is the best thrift store in Gainesville for jewelry. I just discovered it this week (a year after moving to Gainesville). They have large selections of gold and silver jewelry including rings, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. All the jewelry I got ranged from $1-$5.
I didn’t look much at the other sections but they had a surprisingly large selection of designer clothes/shoes and a good amount of regular clothes/shoes/handbags, as well as a furniture section.

Sandy’s is Iike IKEA or Target in the sense that it’s just pleasant to be inside. You’re surrounded by some pretty good items to choose from that are reasonably priced for being used. What makes shopping at Sandy’s go from decent to great is the super welcoming and nice people who work there as well as Sandy herself trying her best to make her customers happy.

Sandy's is such an amazing resale store! I have bought accessories, shirts, dresses, pants; you name it, they have it! Even furniture, cosmetics, and more! They have such a great variety AND name brands at great prices! Every time I visit Gainesville, I always make sure to stop here!

Thrifting at Sandy’s is always a good time! It’s normal for me to head to the dressing room with 15+ items to try on. I find the pricing to be fair and good! They have baskets for your items to be carted around in, a great selection of brands, and they have organized items by type and size. I love seeing women of all ages in here thrifting. Give yourself some time to shop, it’s a big store!

Pretty shop front and nice feel inside.... BUT I was very disappointed. 95% low quality, out of style clothing in the women's department... and they aren't interested in restocking with fresh items (if you want to sell your stuff to them you have to book an appointment months in advance as if it's a high-end boutique). Also, huge area for home goods but barely anything in there... needs to be better stocked!! I don't recommend shopping or trying to sell your used stuff here.
