What makes this place stand out? The incredibly wonderful and friendly staff. And their unheard of cheap prices. These days thrift stores have gone wild, not this spot.

pretty good store, it's been around a long time but its popularity has boomed recently. You can't go in there without being around 5-10 others unless the weather is bad. There are always a few very interesting things and you need to get it if you're evenly remotely interested. I've passed on a few things that i regretted because, of course, it was gone when i went back. It's a tiny store so it's not worth travelling to town to visit, but it's worth a look if you're nearby. The prices are good but they're noticeably rising like they are everywhere.

Good deals. Picked up an REI backpack and a small crossover chest bag for $3.00 each. Worth a stop. Lots of outdoor clothing, etc. Clean and store well-managed.

Everything from Children Clothes to exercise equipment to decorations for every holiday. Anytime I need a quick gift or clothes this is the best place to go. House hold items they got it; from décor to furnisher for every age.

What is best is they don't just take anything, they take in the good stuff. Everything that I have bought from there was exactly what I paid for just a better price.

In the last 2 years this store came from a 3 star to a 5 star. This store reflects our little town and there are always good people there to help you find what you need.

For sure is the best store in Valdez.

I love stopping into Second Time Around at least once a week to see what sort of gems I can find as I peruse the constantly changing selection. Last month I found two Le Creuset pots for my wife in great condition. Those babies still have another 30 years of life left in them!

First time in the thrift store and the ladies were super nice. I found some amazing deals that I couldn’t pass up. If you are on a budget and trying to save money this is the place to go!

I shopped this store several times over the past week, always wearing a mask in spite of a breathing disorder. I went into the store for the last time and forgot my mask. I went in and asked if they had any masks, as has been the practice of other establishments I have entered. They said no and I said I didn’t have one. The lady at the register promptly and rudely said”Then I will have to ask you to leave” I was checking my rear coat pocket for a mask and trying to zip it when she again said loudly and rudely the same thing and shueing me out with her hand. I told her I was trying to zip my coat and she said it again with her voice even louder.
I get the requirement of the mask but if you are going to force someone to wear one then please provide one if a customer has forgotten theirs. For please don’t treat someone poorly. You don’t know their story.

One of the BEST thrift stores anywhere I've been in any state. Definitely worth a stop, you might be very surprised at what you can find here. The prices are crazy cheap, they want to move that inventory!
