I accompanied my daughter to buy a dress for her junior prom. She was so excited to buy a dress. Looked at Macys and a bunch of other stores in the mall. She ended up at secret vanity. The store is unique because the owner takes out the time to write down the name of the school she goes to because she doesn’t want two girls wearing the same dress.she has a very limited amount of models on the same style. I think that this gesture alone makes this store unique. The owner also pulls up different dresses that she feels are unique to the customer. Not only does she do this but she remembers the style of the person and when you return she offers the same advice to you. Thanks ODIE the store owner.

Wonderful boutique in South Miami. They have an amazing selection of party-ready dresses. I have a hard time shopping but the owner, Ody, learned about my event and found the great dress that I needed. And 2 more for my “whenever” .I’m not an accessory person but their stuff is really cute and I went for it.

Very disappointed with this boutique for the second time. I have been visiting this boutique for a while now. Own a few pieces from them and a very special ring which I get a lot of compliments. About three months ago, my daughter’s and I visited the store looking for ideas for a dress we wanted to gift my 22 year old niece. She is very petite so I was merely comparing sizes to my daughter by place the dress in front of her to gauge whether it would fit my niece. A sales lady or I’m not sure who she was. Rudely stated that wasn’t appropriate for my daughter. First of all, she is my daughter and I say what she and she can’t wear. Second of all, I didn’t ask for anyone’s opinion. It made my daughters and I feel terribly uncomfortable and we end it up leaving . I felt like I was not welcome in a place where I would have been spending my money. After that I didn’t want to set foot in there again. Until today, I was looking, browsing if you will for an event dress. At the beginning all good . I was asked what was I looking for and all pertaining questions. I was gracious told where things were . So I was kept browsing. After a while I noticed the sales lady would tell me this are more formal . The ones you are looking for are on the other side. So my daughters and I, made it through the other side. I’m a shopper and look around and maybe purchase something else. But my girls and I felt we were being watch constantly by this lady. My daughter told me I feel we are doing something wrong by simply looking . After a while , we decided to leave because of how uncomfortable we were being followed. They are ways to be helpful, following costumers around , lurking and just being so on top of them is counterproductive. I would have totally purchased something. But I felt pressure . It is a shame as this was one of my favorite boutiques. They just lost 3 costumers . The boutique should improve sales rep training .
We took our business elsewhere.

I love this boutique! The owner is very pleasant and she has great taste. Her staff is always very helpful and I find her prices reasonable. I enjoy shopping at Secret Vanity!!! I will be back soon .

Never in my life, did I think I would experience a real life Pretty Woman unpleasant shopping experience. My daughter and I went to their store to shop for a dress for my daughter. When we walked in, one of the ladies was very nice to us but the other lady, who I assume is a manager or owner, asked what size we were looking for. My daughter is petite and thin so she wears XS or size 0. The woman flat out stated that there was nothing that would fit my daughter there. I understand that may have been the case but it is the way she said it. It was very rude. She could have said that they don't have those sizes but we could feel free to look around. It's like we were wasting her time and she made sure we knew about it. I was planning to walk out but my daughter wanted to try some things on because the do have beautiful dresses and many times, we use a seamstress to take in my daughter's dresses. It was so awkward and awful. They may have nice outfits but she needs a refresher course on manners and customer service. During a time where businesses are closing, I can take my business elsewhere. Which we did, she found a perfect dress at Macy's.

Best boutique in the area! The service was amazing too, the ladies who work here are very attentive to your needs. Went in here to find a dress for a wedding and they helped me find the right dress. Everything in the store is nice, clean, & organized.

I stumbled upon this cute boutique accidentally and to my advantage. Lots of options and often items are marked down. The two ladies who own it are both very nice and helpful. One day I hit the jackpot! I got a pair of really cute jeans, a pair of leggings, joggers, a adorable blouse and a stylish bomber jacket for less than $95, including tax. Now I stop by whenever I'm in the area. They have an extensive selection from fancy dresses, accessories, like purses & jewelry plus casual clothes.

Walked in with my mother to shop for a dress for an upcoming wedding. Even thought we might find some unique dresses for the bridesmaids. We were quickly approached and asked if we needed assistance, which I thought very helpful. However, we were soon hit with realization that the assistance being offered was to shop somewhere else.
While being attended to by the young assistant there, a woman appearing to be either the owner or manager (not sure which as she didn't introduce herself) Succinctly, stepped in and informed us that they only specialize in "tight, sexy dresses" and that we would NOT be able to find anything suitable for my mother there. Considering that we had already seen a couple styles that would have been very tasteful and that she wasn't the only one shopping, seemed a little strange. But then we were told we might be better off looking somewhere else. By the face she made while informing us of this, I guess the thought of a mature woman shopping at the boutique was unwanted in the least, completely deplorable at most. I won't get into the fact that the long looks given to both of us were pretty judgemental or the fact that the tone in which the message was received was definitely less than kind. I will say that there is absolutely nothing SECRET about their VANITY. I will gladly take my business to Macys as recommended and be happyto never step foot in their shop again.
