The place is super cute and it is pretty much the only place you can get gas and snacks around the camping we were staying at. We stopped twice and on both occasion the lady at the counter was unfriendly. You would assume that they are used to having tourists coming by but it seems like she didn't give a F*. I asked for a few quarters for laundry and her answer was I am not a bank. She could have simply told me that there is a coin machine next to the laundry machine at the camp ground, but perhaps she did not have that information. It is too bad that there is not much more love for tourists there.

I was in the Orick area on a wildfire assignment. The owner was very kind and offered free coffee for the fire crews. Clean store and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended

Stopped by for some gas at 8:00am on Sunday because their hours on Google Maps said they were open. However, when we arrived, there was a sign on the door that said they don’t open until 9:00am. UPDATE YOUR GOOGLE HOURS OR DON’T POST THEM AT ALL!

This is a great gas mart in Orick, the staff are very friendly and the variety of the items is good.

I think they may have had a deli in the past however there is not one anymore. Items you can expect are typical gas station snacks, frozen meals, and they also have various outdoor items like firewood, fishing bait and tackle, and coleman propane canisters.

If you seriously need gas you can get that here however if you can make it another 20 miles there is a Chevron in Trinidad(South) or a station on the Rancheria in Klamath(North).
