Great fitting clothes finally! Definitely worth a shot if you are petite. I’ve struggled for YEARS to find clothes that fit me well and I’ve liked my box so far. They allow me to choose my budget and have an extensive style guide.
Also, very responsive service team. You can tell you are speaking to a live person and not an automated chat which makes or breaks a customer service experience and they are quick to respond.

I’ve been thrilled with the boxes I’ve received with every pair of pants fitting me to a tee! I feel like I have a personal shopper sending me gifts every month. Once upon a time, in the land of petite fashion, there was a magical service called Short Story Box. This enchanted box, curated just for us vertically-challenged ladies (I'm 5'1", 160lbs) includes great pieces (I always keep 2-3 items), a styling fee (because even fairy godmothers need to eat), and the chance to keep or return items with a prepaid label (no dragons involved).

I've received over 5 boxes from Short Story, and let me tell you, I'm not short on compliments for their stylist and clothes! I'm amazed at how perfectly the clothes fit and look. Items I never thought I could wear, they showed me how fabulous they can look on me.

Their customer service is like a team of friendly elves, always ready to help via email with timely answers and magical solutions. Short Story Box is truly a fairy tale come true for petite fashionistas

I have really enjoyed this subscription box so far. It’s incredibly nice to receiving petite clothes to try on instead of hunting for the one small rack in a store. Not everything fits perfectly (it never does) but the stylist have done a good job responding to my needs and style direction and the clothes have been well made. I would recommend anyone who is always hunting for petites to try it!

Where do I begin....
First off clothes are expensive and quality isn't that great. I ordered my first box and kept 1 item as everything else was either too expensive or just not my style at all. They lost my returns and sent me a email stating that they would charge my cc for the entire box. I canceled my subscription and thought that would be the end.

The following month I found a styling charge on my cc. I disputed because I had canceled it the month before. Short stories told me I didn't cancel in time and sent me another box. Emails show I canceled a month before 2nd box was issued. I refused 2nd box and had USPS return to sender. My cc is now charged for $400 because clothes weren't return, which is funny considering I never excepted package.
I'm super annoyed with this company. There service sucks! Multiple emails have been exchange, yet everytime I'm dealing with someone new who didn't read the last email. I suggest using Stitchfix. The styling is better, clothing is better quality, the cost us better and the times that I had had to contact Stitchfix I've gotten way better service than this.

Short Story has been the absolute BEST box I've found as a petite individual. The stylists listen to what you're looking for and send you those items, along with a few fun pieces to spice up your wardrobe. The fit of every item is specifically tailored to us petite gals and it's SO nice to not have to get my clothing altered to fit well. I have yet to receive a box where I don't keep at least 2-3 pieces. They knock it out of the park every time!

Short Story has changed my fashion life!! I've been wanting to try a clothing subscription box for awhile, but being 5'2", I've always been hesitant about the way things would fit. Short Story is a LIFESAVER. Their pieces are proportionally perfect, and also have great elements like stretch and elastic that make them user-friendly for every day wear. I've kept 2-3 items from each box and nothing could make me happier. Their customer service is great and I always get compliments from the items I keep!! I'd never been able to wear a jumpsuit (see below) until Short Story!
