Sierra - Tinley Park, Illinois

Today, I visited **Sierra Trading Post** in Tinley Park because another store forgot to remove a security tag from an item I purchased. I showed my receipt and explained the situation, expecting a quick solution, but the manager, **Oner**, was completely indifferent.

Not only did he tell me I had to go back to the other store, but he also didn’t offer any apology for the inconvenience, the time wasted, or the gas spent due to an error that was entirely their fault. His attitude was disappointing and does not reflect the standards one would expect from **Sierra Trading Post**.

It was a frustrating experience, and honestly, I’d rather shop at stores where the service and management value their customers.

Made a return on 10/26 and 11/1 - neither has been credited to my bank account. Have been in contact with customer service and have had to repeat the story multiple times over phone calls and emails. They claim that the return was issued to a Discover card - not what I used, I don’t even own a Discover card. Still trying to get this resolved and now customer service is telling me to make ANOTHER purchase so they can refund that amount and the amount I am owed. I will be filing a claim with the Illinois Attorney General, the federal trade commission, the better business bureau, and will be in contact with the Village of Tinley Park about the way this business is being run. I would suggest anyone else experiencing this issues do the same. I will absolutely never make purchases from this store again, or any of their affiliated businesses (HomeGoods, TJ Max, Marshall’s).

Online purchase arrived 7 days later. Returned to the Tinley Park IL store same day it arrived. Have the store receipt showing the refund. Checked my credit card statement and it shows no refund during the transaction month. Called customer service and they said to call the store. Went into the TP store and they said to call CS. Called CS again and had them escalate to a manager. CS could see a return but no refund. Waiting on reply. CALLED MY CREDIT CARD AND INTITATED A DISPUTE IN THE MEANTIME.

This store is great!! It's very clean and organized.

The staff members are very kind and friendly. I stopped by when I flew into town and found exactly what I was looking for. I went to another location in which they forgot to remove the sensor from my shoe, I stopped back in to this location and the gentleman was so kind and removed it.

BEWARE!! Returned some items here on 10/17th and still 2 weeks later have not received $300 refund back to my card! Called the store, was told to call their corporate, then was told to email a receipt to which they replied that transaction number on the receipt shows different items returned for $20 instead(?!) Receipt clearly shows what was returned and the price! Either their system is messed up or they’re running a SCAM!
Still waiting for a manager to call or email and resolve this.

An off price retail heaven for the lovers of an active lifestyle. Excellent comfy shoe selection. A great place to buy healthy snacks for yourself and your pooch. The clothing selection is amazing.
