They make awesome large sandwiches. We had a toasted sourdough with roast beef and all the trimmings. It was delicious highly recommend this place. And the owner was very nice.

A fun, convenient rest stop on our cycling tour. The public restroom was a bonus, as was the spring water fountain. Great authentic country store!

First off, this store keeps some people alive. The owner is about as good of a guy as can be. Sure, you can drive to get cheaper...but that leads to no store and further separation of the community. Families are becoming a thing of the past, so the community is broken. Not an insult, but in the old ways, members of communities did a role to provide for everyone, and money was not an issue. A collective of Families who care, now it's vacation rentals and money guiding our children's lives strait to the abyss. God help us. A baked potato with vegan toppings would help the hikers, who are very carbon footprint aware and 5 minutes in the micro and boom. Larry needs support, so he can support the community.

The sandwiches are as good as people say. The breakfast sammy was awesome. We had ours as the chef recommended. BLT was good. Bacon was great. Tomato not so good. Still delish. The chocolate milk shake was wonderful!

GREAT DELI! You get a sandwich big enough for most to eat lunch and dinner! Snacks, decent selection of beer, and you love the selection of Wine and Spirits. The spot for PCT hikers to grab packages, without Larry and this shop, a hole would not be filled!

Great store ran by an awesome local guy named Larry. Delicious food and open year round!!! The prices can be higher but given the location it's totally understandable. Couldn't be happier to have a store nearby in this community!

One guy runs this whole place it seems. Beautiful backdrop on a sleepy one horse California mountain town. You may have only this place to choose from, but it's good, the guy there has everything you need. Also, he is accommodating to the local hikers, let's them stay on the porch and so on.
