We attempted to visit here when we passed through Bishop and found a sign on the door stating they were closed for a few days. We decided to come back on our return trip as they were supposed to be open at 9 on that day. We left later than we wanted to so that we would not be too early. We were welcomed by another sign that said they would be open at 11:30 now and we couldn’t waste anymore time waiting on their sporadic hours.

The "Red Horse" as locals call it, or Allen Outdoor / Sierra Saddlery & Feed has everything from Eastern Apparel to animal & livestock feeds to RV and camping accessories, and U-Haul rentals. Prices seem fair. I have bought baby chicks & turkeys from them in the past and they did well. We tend to visit Wye Rd. Feed for most of our chicks and for our chicken feed and supplies, mostly because they are closer to my home.
Both are great local businesses and friendly staff are readily available.

This is a great little store. Not only did they have the feed I needed, but they went the extra step to help me with suggestions to help my chickens. The best part of my shopping experience was that I felt safe inside the store because the staff was complying with the county mask mandate.
