I absolutely love Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a clean, modern aesthetic that feels both cozy and stylish. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

If you’re a coffee lover, this is the place to be. My two favorite drinks are the Smokin’ Spaniard — It’s rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of smoky sweetness — And the Tiger Latte, which is smooth, balanced, and absolutely delicious.

Whether you’re looking for a spot to get some work done, catch up with friends, or just enjoy an amazing cup of coffee, Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Ordered a hot Tiger Latte. This is one of their signature line of drinks made of brown sugar with frothed oak milk over espresso. This has a nice gentle sweetness to it and is very smooth to drink. This is great if you want more than just black coffee but don’t want to spring for some extravagant concoction. There is also a sweet corn latte that mimics the sweet corn flavor very well without being overpowered by the espresso. Store has steady traffic through the day so there can be a wait to get coffee. The service was quick and nice. The atmosphere of the store is warm and laid back, there might not be a lot of study space because there are only a handful of sitting areas. Location is right in a popular plaza but keep in mind the parking spaces here are limited and narrow so parking may be a challenge.

Serendipitous discovery of this very popular Korean-inspired coffee shop offering specialty beverages and baked goods in San Gabriel. Really like the Jeju Matcha Latte made with oat milk and ceremonial grade organic matcha from Jeju Island. Lemon Earl Grey Sconkie (scone cookie) is also very good!

Surprisingly, the Tiger latte is so good! The first time I tried this one here in San Gabriel area. They made the coffee with care n love 😉 and the pastries look so delish. Took the pictures for y'all to see. I didn't buy any, since I was so full from lunch. But I will be back soon!

Got the shaken iced drip which was very strong. I've tried their chestnut latte and their gokuma, which was a sweet potato latte, and they're all decent. The wait time was kind of long today (around 13 mins for two drinks) despite only 2 orders before me. I'd come back to try their seasonal drinks.

Easy parking, decent sweet options and more unique flavors, standard specialty coffee pricing, and excitement from staff for coffee in general.

I was in the area for work and decided to check this spot out.

Generally I always get the same order of an oat cap or oat cortado to check out the coffee quality. Overall coffee quality wasn't quite there yet but the employees were really nice and enthusiastic about coffee in general.

It sounded like their sweet flavors were what most people were excited for here - there was a pretty decent line so I'm sure

I love their espresso tonic, hallabong style!! some of their drinks can be on the sweeter side so adjust accordingly! this location doesn't have as much "bread" as advertised or like the other locations.

unfortunately they don't have an order ahead option.

parking is free in plaza!

wait can be a bit if you're in a rush as they're popular in the weekday mornings so plan accordingly.

We went to check this place out tonight. I really appreciated that they let us customize some of our drinks and that the ingredients for the baked items were clearly listed on the side of the display case. My sparkling lemonade was very nice, not too sweet with chunks of rind at the bottom. The kids also enjoyed their drinks. There are some tables and a bench outside.
