Sobok Sobok is a charming Korean-owned bakery and ice cream shop with a modern yet cozy atmosphere. Though the space is small, its simple design and warm ambiance create a relaxing vibe.

Breakfast Experience

I visited in the morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Their Croissant Sandwich was a great choice—crispy on the outside and filled with ham, cheese, egg, and lettuce, making for a satisfying and protein-rich meal.

For my drink, I tried the Black Sesame Latte, but it was a bit disappointing. The sesame powder didn’t dissolve well into the hot milk, and no one informed me that it needed stirring, which affected the overall taste.

Environment & Amenities

There are plenty of seats, but a few downsides for those looking to work or study here:

No power sockets, which makes it inconvenient for long stays.

No WiFi, so it’s not the best place for remote work or studying.

Not dog-friendly—only service dogs are allowed, so pet owners should take note.

Final Thoughts

Sobok Sobok has potential, and with a few small improvements, it could be a fantastic go-to spot for both breakfast and dessert lovers.

While my breakfast experience was mostly enjoyable, I’d love to return to try their shaved ice and ice cream next time, as those seem to be their specialties.

One of the best morning spots to grab coffee or breakfast or afternoon dessert. They offer a wide range of desserts from bingsooo to soft serves. Their pineapple soft serve is the best in town. I loved their coffee bread with no coffee but paired with a hot coffee is the best. Service is quick friendly and place is very clean! 10/10 recommend!

Wow, the original buns are incredible. Freshly made, soft, and mildly sweet with a hint of coffee. It’s a must buy! Also the Korean styled iced coffee, strong version, is a great complimentary to the buns.

Upon entering the shop, you are hit with the aroma of freshly baked coffee buns...and it's quite heavenly. I also recommend their soft serve ice cream. We tried most of the flavors, and you can't go wrong with either matcha/strawberry or milk/Dole combo. The coffee buns themselves were flaky, soft, and an excellent pairing with their soft serve ice cream!

I've been here three times now and I think this is a great little neighborhood dessert spot. Their original coffee buns when baked fresh are semi-sweet with a light coffee flavor and savory buttery taste on the inside. The coffee bun is great mix of textures with a crispy outside and a fluffy soft inside. This place also has korean shaved ice and good ol' pineapple dole whip as well as a few other soft serve iced cream flavors to spice up the variety. I haven't had any of the coffee yet, but I will one day.
