South Tampa Trading Co is the place to go for all your Gasparilla gear. They also have all sorts of parade gear and can custom make parade costumes. Kim helped me. She was awesome. She helped me pick out fabric and helped me design a custom-made pirate costume. The selection of beads is second to none.

First time coming in to buy beads for the kids to throw. All the staff were super nice and helped me pick out beads. The store has an amazing selection of pirate gear. And you seriously cannot beat their prices. Will definitely be back to purchase a wreath! Thank you!

RUDE Owner. I asked if a headband could please be sewn on to my headpiece for a pirate ball on Jan 2 and was rudely told no and could I not figure out how to sew it in my self. Super rude. I would never shop here again or give this business money if that’s how rude they are to people - they couldn’t care less. There are other great businesses out there.

This place is really cool. The shop is run as a co-op and you can find some neat little treasures. There's everything from ladies casual wear to frocks only a pirate would love. The staff are friendly and helpful. We went in on a Saturday and enjoyed talking to some of the staff. We will certainly return.

Fantastic costume shop! You can get all of your party needs there for dress up, especially pirate parties for the parades like Gasparilla. They have a large bead room with a massive selection of beads for parades as well. Pretty cool accessories, hats pets in a ton of fabric for custom design. All in all this is your One Stop Shop for a costume work and parade wear.

Oh wow, great place, friendly people to help with all your costuming needs. They can even make you a costume. Lots of tid bits as well to give you a unique look all your own. Need a pirate or steam punk hat. Buy one or make your. I could spend a couple of hours looking around. 😊😊

Oh my gosh I could spend hours looking at all the merchandise they have for sale. Hats with feather plumes, plain hats that you can decorate yourself, so much bling on everything from purses, sunglasses to necklaces and earrings. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Uncle Bob. I highly recommend South Tampa Trading Co for all your pirate garb and decorations.
