The price is twice the average price of retail grocery stores. There is a very bad odor there. I live 183ft from the store.. It would have been very convenient for me.

You know most things there are not marked up too much. It's reasonable for the convenience.although many times in very shocked when I get to the register. And I'm pretty good at math..but that being said they are a nice family..and I appreciate them being there. Just don't buy cigarettes there.

Great variety of different things available. Last time I went I had to decide between heavy whipping cream and whipped cream. None of the food is expired (a rarity among bodegas). Prices are expensive, but it's a bodega. The staff are always very friendly.

Prices are ridiculous on everything! I can understand with the pandemic that prices are up but I was told by the owner he takes prices up everyday from ten cents to five dollars not to mention when you get to the counter the price are different than displayed! I see the owner at Aldi, Walmart, and the Dollar Store often but to bring it back to our neighborhood and charge 4 x's the price is absurd and it price gouging! So much for convenience for this neighborhood!

Very convenient and courteous staff. Well I was wrong. I have shopped at this store for 30 years. Much longer than the people that run it now have been in my neighborhood. So now I was told that I couldn’t be on the sidewalk more than five minutes because I was scaring people. And you can check my profile I think you will see I am no kind of threat. I even picked up the trash in front of the store while I was waiting for my ride.
This is not bob and jacks anymore. It’s just another - “thank you come again” (thank you the Simpson’s for that line) store I don’t understand as bad as things in the world since when did standing in the corner of your neighborhood become a crime. And this is after I voluntarily picked up the trash in front of the store.
There will be more to follow...

I lived across the street and visited this place daily for 5 years. Probably spend $25k in there over the years because I was too lazy to drive to Walmart. The prices are higher but you are paying for connivence. It is family owned and operated. The mom and dad work in the morning and 1 of the 2 kids work at night. Both kids are in college and seem like they will be very successful in life. When I told them I was moving away, they genuinely were very sad. I hope it’s not just because they were losing my money. I honestly felt like we all developed a relationship over the years. They are very nice people. Once again, you are paying for connivence. They have Indian food that you can try. Some Indian snacks and what not. Also they have fresh produce which is a rare thing for a connivence store these day. 10/10 would recommend!

While prices are high, the staff is always polite and helpful. Good for a one item or total basket foods.
