Stayed in Bishop for a night to visit Mammoth and stumbled upon this lovely bookstore. They have an excellent assortment of books, crafting stuff, locally designed postcards, and other great gift items. They also seem to have an entrance to a small cafe through the back, although I didn't get the chance to visit it as well.

Really nice little bookstore with some used titles mixed in with the mostly new ones. Nice ambiance and the ladies working there were very kind and helpful; the young lady who rang me up actually gave me a recommendation for a local place to visit [Sabrina Lake] that my wife and I absolutely LOVED!
They have a section of books by local authors, a section featuring local history and outdoor activities, and one in which all the authors are Indigenous Americans.
As a writer and ferocious bookworm I always try to support independent bookstores, and this is a cool little joint. Very highly recommend stopping in whether you're staying in Bishop or merely passing through!

Unique and interesting bookstore, I usually really like these places more but staff was busy talking to each other, didn’t feel very welcoming, also saw some cheap rings from china being sold at an outrageous price - they did have a lot of other unique handmade things for sale, I probably just went in at a bad time…

Not the greatest collection and it's a bit expensive, but it's a cute little bookstore in a good location, and it does have enough that you can probably find something. If you're looking for cheap old vinyl, they have some available as well, it's worth looking through.

Fantastic selection of books here. They have mostly new books, and the used books that are mixed in are in excellent condition and well priced as well.

This is an adorable place with not only books but an incredible selection of goods made by local artists. If you are looking for a unique handmade gift for someone look no further. The also have a cafe attached which looked very popular. My dog loved it here and the staff loved her and gave her treats. If you find yourself shopping in Bishop you have to add this place as a stop.
