Worth the drive to Lavaca! The menu offered gluten free options. My friend ordered a pizza sun and a taco salad. I ordered a small 10 inch pizza with hamburger, mushroom, and fresh spinach. I learned that they have an isolated area in the back to prepare food for people with allergies. It is a big bonus to not have to worry about cross contamination. Our server Sydney was great and our drinks barley got to half full before someone would offer to refill them. There is a recreation room with a pool table also.

I came in on a hot day and was surprised how cool it felt in the backroom. The server was charming. I had the meatball pizza sub, it smelled very good. 😉 the crust was thin and slightly crispy. It was delicious, I will definitely be stopping by for lunch again sometime.

We went to Steffys today for lunch. Hadn't been in awhile so I was ready for my sub. When we pulled up there was one car in parking lot and I told my husband this should be fast. Was I ever wrong. We ordered a supreme sub and a cheeseburger sub. There was one other table with 2 people who had already ordered. So far so good. About 15 minutes after placing our order the waitress came out and said they should be done any minute.10 minutes later she came out and said sorry it's taking so long, "the oven is cooking slow". HUH? It was another 7 minutes before we got our subs. I think they cooked one and forgot the other one because mine was hot and my husbands was cool. I would rather if that was the case they would have been honest and gave him the opportunity to eat his hot. Food was delicious though but th wait was ridiculous.

Today was my final straw with this place. The last five times I came here I am waited on by someone who won’t even speak to you, I waited over an hour and a half for my food, and when I did get it, it was almost burnt to a crisp. The owner refuse to honor the discount because it would lose her money. Not to mention I always have to wait while people come in after me and they always get their food before I do. Will not set foot back in here or any restaurant in Lavaca again.

Got there at 3:30 27JUN24. No other customers where in there. Waited fifteen minutes at the table and no one showed up. Two kids were walking around, but no one waited on us, so we left. Been there several time before and was always given good food and excellent service.

Steffey's will always get 5stars there pizza and pizza pockets have been off the chain for over 30 yrs now I drive over a 100 miles when I want a pizza pocket there simply amazing and never find nicer people

There is not a bad item on the menu! The food is something to crave. We were the only ones in the dining area. They service was very poor on a weekday but the pizza was so good it made up for it. I have faith this place is more lively on a weekend. We ordered a half cheeseburger and half supreme!
