I have been selling items with Style Encore for about 4 years now and each time I have received less and less for my items. Yesterday, I brought in a bag full of fall and summer clothes, nice brands with some items still having the tags, and the girl told me they would have them done in an hour and a half and they didn’t call me until 3 1/2 hours later. When I got up there today they only wanted to take 3 items for a whopping $12 (the items were a lulu lemon workout shirt, a dress, and an athletic dress with the tags still on it). I took my items back and left. I will never bring items to sell here again. Do not waste your time trying to sell here.

Made some extra $ with the things I wasn't wearing anymore and got an amazing deal on a purse with my profits. They held a purse for me until I could get back from across the other side of the county. Great items, atmosphere and emoloyees!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to lend a helping hand. The selection is impressive, with a great range of gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories from popular and designer brands. Shopping here is the BEST experience I’ve had while out shopping lately. The staff is young but are most definitely caring. They try their best to assist the customers with all they have to do. Many customers within this area are very demanding and feels entitled. I’ve watched how RUDE some customers can be when I’m in there shopping. They have no respect for the young workers. My heart goes out to them. I’ve shopped here for years and will continue.

Thoroughly Disappointed in the Customer Service

I visited Style Encore today and was thoroughly disappointed in the service I received. I walked in at 5:59 p.m., just before their closing time of 6:00 p.m., with a couple of quick questions. I wasn't even there to shop. The young lady behind the counter immediately told me, from across the room, that they were closed. I politely acknowledged and left, but the experience left a bad impression.

As someone with a background in retail, I was surprised by the treatment. The sign on the door was still on, and it was blinking “Open,” so it didn’t feel like they were officially closed. In my experience, it’s unusual (and frankly poor customer service) to ask someone to leave once they’ve already entered the store, especially if they’re simply asking a question.

I expect more from a place that relies on customer satisfaction, and this experience has definitely affected my opinion of Style Encore

This is the first time I was at this store. It's a great place with lots of stuff to choose from. Plan on spending at least a good hour there searching through all the stuff

I have been a frequent customer of this place because it is much closer to my house than Plato’s, but I think I will start just making the drive to Plato’s instead. I literally called to ask about what items were being taken before I dropped items off to the store, and I was told that although they were being selective about summer styles, they were mostly taking fall items, which is the bulk of what I was going to sell. I brought a bag and a hamper, and two containers had always been the limit, I guess up until this particular day. Immediately upon walking into the store, I was asked “Is that two containers?” to which I said yes, and the clerk says “ok so we’re only taking one container as per our new policy” as though I was supposed to know that prior. I just said “oh okay, that’s new” to which she replied “yep”. No apology or anything was offered, and I was not told even remotely over the phone about a change in policy. I was going to purchase something as well but I walked out instead.

I drove 3 times back and forth living 25 min away and got a total of $13. When I first get there I see a paper saying 2 BAGS ONLY! And have to be picked up in 24 hours. So I drop off 2 and let them know I live pretty far and they still said 2 bags. I pick my first batch up the next day and get $13. Then I drop off my next 2 bags and drove back and forth and get $0. “PA” was written on the bags. They did not explain to me what this meant, I had to ask did they take any clothes. I brought very very good condition men’s clothing that were Adidas, Nike, etc, and then I brought women clothing with Anthropologie, J Crew, LL Bean, Nike and Other high boutique brands and I get $13 back total for everything and they didn’t even take good brand items. 4 bags and total of $20 in gas later, I am out $7 I spent in gas. So in the negative. DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE! I even got a text the previous weekend letting me know they are accepting fall clothes. They were ALL fall clothes. Don’t believe them, such a scam
