Great chocolates!

I love this chocolate place I received a gift box from a friend. I hadn't tried them before buy glad they are close to my work in Palo Alto ái will be back!!

It taste homemade & you can tell the quality is much higher than a lot of chocolates you get at a grocery store.

After reading various chocolatier reviews and menus on Yelp, I decided to purchase thank-you gifts at Sweet55. They seemed to have a good balance of quality products and reasonable pricing compared to other shops in the area.

When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the young woman at the counter. She offered to answer any questions I had and directed me to the gift sets when I asked. She patiently answered my many questions and described each chocolate available. I decided to select a nut-free collection of pieces for my gift boxes based on her recommendations. As she packed my seven gift boxes, we had a nice conversation and she offered me a free sample. It was delicious! Then other shoppers came in and she also warmly greeted them. Since I wasn't in a hurry, I encouraged her to help them and then go back to packing my boxes.

She told me more about the shop and their chocolate making process. I was impressed. This high school senior provided some of the best customer service I have experienced. Thank you Sofia making my first purchase at Sweet55 wonderful and it will not be my last.

Lovely and lucky to have met the owner and to talk about her chocolates and products. We were there for a graduation and had requested a special arrangement for pick up. Very welcoming and accommodating. Also got to sample her unique calamansi based chocolate as well. Definitely a wonderful place for chocoholics and for gift purchases.

Amazing chocolate, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff! The shop has some of the best truffles I've tasted, and I really enjoyed asking/hearing about the history of some of the chocolate pieces and how they're made. I highly recommend to any chocolate enjoyer.

Very authentic Swiss taste and wonderful staff!

I recently visited Switzerland and was charmed by the country’s high standards for quality. Swiss chocolate is a fine example of that. One of my regrets was not taking home a can of the dark hot chocolate that I had at Sprungli.

I walked in the store today and told the staff my regret. She offered me a cup of their dark hot chocolate. It was wonderful. She also offered a truffle which was delicious and distinctively Swiss.

I walked out with a can of the hot chocolate and some truffles. Very glad I found this shop and I look forward to coming back!

Amazing service from the owner herself! Every recommendation was to my liking, especially the Pistachio-Marzipan and Milk Eiger. Their Dark Gianduja was a surprising fave as well. Chocolate is such great quality, is not overly sweet or bitter. Will return to try their other flavors and chocoate bars!!

Born and raised in Switzerland and being a chocolate connoisseur this store is an answer to my dreams. Swiss chocolate is by far the best and this store lives up to this reputation. I introduced several of my American friends to this place and all of them have been back and are full of compliments. The store is beautiful and the employees are very friendly.

What a delightful addition to Town and Country. We so enjoyed the helpful staff and bought a beautiful selection of chocolates for a special anniversary gift. The gift packaging was done beautifully. Naturally we also enjoyed a selection of these delicious chocolates for our selves A definite must stop if you are in Palo Alto.
