I haven't gotten a room yet, but I live pretty close. I'm reviewing the casino because of one employee. Amber in guest services. I am a director, and I have employees under me. Amber is a treasure and a delight. She remembered me a few months after the first time I came to the casino, my name and including what I did! Give her a raise. Your other employees have also been great. I will come back because of your wonderful staff.

Service at restaurant was terrible, need to train waiters and waitress on how to do their job. Rooms look nice but they are not sound proof at all, doors slamming all night, people in hallways all night long. Very noisy, Machines also tight not much on pay outs. I guess you can put lip stick on a pig, but it's still a pig. Will not go back!

At Sycuan, My wife and I did not get one bonus round or free spins with $700.00 on the slots.
When we visit other casinos. That much money lasts us three to five hours. We played different machines. 1 cent to 1 dollar no max bets. Just all lines and minimum betting. We roll the wheel quickly!
I did see other people playing and hitting some payouts. But I wanted to hear that ring with the loud sounds and flashing lights. At least once! LOL
We will visit Sycuan again some time and we will have fun. But I was bummed out, loosing so quickly. I wanted my wife to enjoy herself a little more than she did.
We will try again as most folks do! Thanks for the great meal and superb staff! They all were kind and professional.

Everything is good about it. But if you don't go for a year you can't get free play for a while you have to play 30 days to start getting Free play again. I don't go anymore. Had a gambling problem for a while. When you lose and you wait for the spring street bus til 3:15am and El cajon bus you are so tired that you feel intoxicated. It's worse than staying up all night at your house. I don't miss it, I don't have to do it anymore. Did have to go when I borrowed money to pay debts. Otherwise if you just go once in a bit and not everyday youll be good. 👍

This is our favorite resort casino in San Diego. We are Native American and they treat us very well here. We travel 3-4 times every month all over the country. But no matter where we go we can’t wait to be close to home so we can stay here. The food and amenities are excellent, the spa and gym are amazing. The pool area is very nice.

The resort rooms are absolutely wonderful. Clean, pristine, and super comfy beds. The resort staff was incredibly pleasant to speak with at any time, as well as bell-hops, valet employees, and other staff. Highly recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with the way Sycuan Casino has treated my 88-year-old grandfather, Jack Turner, a loyal Diamond member who has spent years enjoying the perks and entertainment here. His visits to the casino with my grandmother are something he truly looks forward to, and the way he was treated by manager Ricardo was completely unacceptable.

Last month, my grandfather used the complimentary car wash, one of the perks that Diamond members are supposed to enjoy. Instead of receiving good service, he was met with disrespect and poor treatment. When I called to get clarity on the situation, Ricardo was rude, defensive, and outright dismissive. He even remembered the exact color of the car (silver), meaning he was fully aware of what had happened. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he told me to "call his lawyer"—over a car wash! On top of that, he cut me off, saying he was with his family and needed to get off the phone—as if a loyal guest’s concern wasn’t worth his time.

Since this incident, my grandparents have not taken their car back to be washed. How fair is it that a Diamond member perk is now something they don’t feel comfortable using because they don’t trust the staff to take care of their property?

Sycuan Casino should treat its loyal guests with respect—not dismiss them and make them feel like their concerns don’t matter. Customer service should be a priority, especially for long-time members like my grandfather. This experience has left him incredibly disappointed, and as his family, I’m just as upset.

For a business that relies on guest loyalty and repeat visits, it’s shocking to see such poor customer service at a management level. If Sycuan values its Diamond members, they need to do better. No guest should ever feel like they are being brushed aside, especially after years of loyalty.

Very large with lots of dining choices. Everything is nice, new and modern. I would have given it more stars but for the hotel room. Who wants to go to the casino to get their first cup of coffee. The a/c was loud and the room not sound proof. The blanket was paper thin so I turned off the a/c but had to wake up a few times as the room got so hot and actually smelled like French fries.
