I pay $34.91¢ every month for solid waste remover !!! School children, and the residents of Jackson Heights. We have to live every day with the stinking foul water the trash trucks dump on streets with 90° weather. And this is from the Organization that is supposed to ELIMINATE smells.....🤢
South Tampa doesn't have this problem, WHY then do East Tampa...🤨

The Tampa Solid Waste Department is working hard to make your life as difficult as possible. They have an ever growing list of things they will not pick up. This forces you to have to go to their only dump site to try dispose of items. This is where the fun begins. The lines are amazingly long and you have to wait not in one line but three, this can add up to hours. Now, to make things worse they are only open 4 hours per day. And now they want more money.

Pretty much agree with all the complaints on here. Spoke to a representative Tom at solid waste / Trash pickup today, he acted pretty much like I was bothering him. I wanted to know when our trash would be picked up. Our entire neighborhood is over flowing with cans over filled… and as for recycle to be picked up .. lol, nope not this week… again. Tom pretty much said City recognizes only 2 Monday holidays. Online stated trash pickup resumes on Tuesday … ummm, nope and Wednesday nope. Garbage cans are out 24 / 7 waiting for pickup. Pretty sad.

They will break and damage your trash receptacles (yard waste). Then have you waste your time to speak to 10 different people and submit your claim. Only to deny it again and again. They'd ruined 2 of my yard waste receptacles and have yet to take responsiblity.

Never a guarantee that they’ll actually pick up your trash.
- never once have picked up my yard waste when i put it out in a designated black bin… sure glad I pay top dollar for city services!

Not the first time this has happened.. Our trash was not picked up today and our side of the block.. They keep getting the right side of the block but a few times recently not ours and we keep paying the bill.. Slowly but surely the bill goes up but they do less.. Is there anyway that we can resolve this issue

Rude, rude, and rude. Service is terrible. A disabled household member has back door service because they cannot take the trash can to the street. There are multiple episodes of missed pickup. When I called to report it, they have been extremely rude with smart aleck answers. No one seems to be accountable either.
