Literally 5 stars just for the fact they are open in the middle of nowhere and have a cute gift shop. Gas station is pretty tight but 4 travel trailers fit going through to get gas. There is a pull off to the side that u can park and stretch ur legs. Bathrooms are flushable inside but they also have port-a-potties outside that are way better than waiting. Clerks were nice and provided good information on the area and current driving conditions. We love stopping here for breaks.

It was a convenient location at the middle of a highway intersection.
Pump worked flawlessly. Clerk was pretty nice.
Had a nice selection of beverages, snacks, lots of frozen food, and great souvenirs. There are also a few other businesses near this location - A few not mentioned but services I used were the drive through coffee and Ernesto's (Latin cuisine) - gotta say, I was super impressed with their Chile Relleno. Delicious, filling, memorable. I almost wished I hadn't experienced them knowing where this is and the accessibility factor. The Americano I ordered was strong, bitter, and everything I wanted.

Tesoro "Hub of Alaska" is one of those golden gas stations in Alaska that provide nearly everything you need to get you from Full to your next Empty. You'll find these gas stations at the end of the road systems and in the middle of no where. I'm thankful for the employees and owners of these gas stations to make our family trips more comfortable. I know the tourists appreciate the leg stretching and souvenirs on those long bus rides. Keep up the great work!

If you're looking for a bible then you'll find a wall of them near the restrooms.

I was there a year ago, 1 restroom is only available that time, and when we came back recently, the other restroom is still not working. Are they still going to fix it ?

Tesoro changed for marathon …. Still same place still same store and its still good staff …..Busy place and gift store 🙂 opens 7 days per week 24/24 🙂

I am a Diet Dr. Pepper addict, and purchased a case at $12.50 a case. When I finished my journey 110 miles later, I sat down to drink my soda, it was flat old. It’s not as though I can return.. I kept the receipt. Beware of expiration dates on items at this place.

This place is always busy and messy. The restrooms are never maintained and the stick of items in the store are always low. However, it is a necessary stop to get some gas and stretch your legs from the long drive. Since there is no competition near by they have no reason to improve.
