WHY WOULD THERE BE A DPS BUT NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE DRIVERS LICENSES? I now have to drive to the woodlands to renew my license. Seriously, either change the name, put it online, or just ISSUE THE FREAKING LICENSES.

This location does not do driver's license renewals. It is the regional headquarters for all of Metro Houston and Region 2 which includes East Texas up to Lufkin and down to Beaumont as well as down to Victoria and and up to Bryan/College Station. They don't have time to do driver's license renewals which you can do online! If you want to go to a local office look one up in the phone book or online and call them and make sure they do driver's license renewals before you drive there. It's easy and non frustrating.

If you’re trying to get fingerprints done, don’t bother. They don’t actually show up during the posted hours. Search “fingerprint services Houston” and you’ll find lots of options where you can actually make an appointment. Giving 2 stars because the receptionist was nice.

Unprofessional.
The lady clearly answered the call from a restroom. Said she would connect me with a supervisor, which rang once and then hung up . For a “headquarter dps office “ come on

Officers All The Time Speak face to face with Me in Public and are Proud in Appreciation of their Service . There are not any side walks in 77065 also a lack of City Metro local 🚌 bus fixed routes as well as a dormant during the day Northwest Station Park And Ride Metropolitan Transportation Authority depot. It would help people that want to shop at The Sam's Club with a Metrolift Para-Transit Disable Stop affixed here . This and those visitors in cars should feel welcome to visit.
