The store is very clean and organized. The worker (I wish I had gotten her name) was so sweet and helpful!! I was able to get my posters laminated and cut out while I was there. It didn't take long at all. She also was very helpful in helping me find a specific Melissa and Doug toy I was looking for. I will be returning!!

The Chalkboard has great variety and excellent service. I am an occupational therapist and I’m impressed by the selection of sensory tools and chewy products. I love shopping here both professionally and for my own daughter. Everything is well priced and they often run specials on certain items.

I had to get some presents in the mail for some children. Being old and having some health issues I don't like going to Walmart or Target. I went to the Chalkboard for the first time. They had a nice variety of items that I would not find in a department store. I found some great presents. The prices were good and the owner was friendly and helpful. I avoided the crowds and had a good experience.

I met the owner during my visit. She seems to have opened the store as a public service more than a get rich scheme. She loves our town and wants to provide a resource for area teachers to get supplies as well as local familes to find learning activities. The shelves are filled with products you will never find at Target or Walmart. Even finding them online would be difficult. They are priced well below what I was expecting and the offerings are varied.

Many times, I have been in Walmart trying to find a classmate's birthday gift that is destined for a yard sale. The Chalkboard will satisfy and it will do so with fairly priced, fun, AND educational products.

If you have children less than 16, are a teacher, or know any in these categories, please check them out. Let's support a good local business who is offering unique products at great prices.

I love this place. I've shopped there many times during this quarantine/social distancing period. Lots of fun educational games and activities. Plenty of variety for all ages.
