I happily drive across town to visit this amazing store with the best selection of incredible chocolate treats. The candy aisle at the grocery store just doesn't cut it anymore. Go here, you will be glad you did! Also I have ordered online from them for gifts to friends and family and it's a huge hit every time. Thanks Dale and Kala you guys are the best in town!

This is a locally owned and operated "family-run" business that is dedicated to providing customers a delicious experience.

I visited the store in-person during a past trip to the area. I've also purchased online and have had products mailed to me as well. My experiences with this business (both in-person and online orders) have been excellent! The store is charming and well organized. The ambiance and staff are very welcoming.

The products offered are vast and many are unique [to me]. They offer bars, snacks, beverages, baking, "Bundles", and more. Products they offer include -but are certainly not limited to- hard for me to find keto friendly and paleo friendly chocolates. The products I've purchased were 'new to me' and I've not seen them available anywhere else. I've tried some items that I was skeptical about, only to find them very much worth the experience (such as one including "forest crystals", and chocolate -with no sweetener added whatsoever). In the "Bundles" section on their website, I ordered the "Hardcore Bundle" featuring dark chocolate selections which I found to be very good choices.

I've noticed that they also offer specials throughout the year and have been great incentives for my purchases. I signed up for their email list to receive notice of future offers, special events, and new product information. The online website is easy to navigate and has search features to help me find selections that fit my criteria. I've used the chat feature on their website, and that helped me navigate to selections. They are ready, willing, and able to assist in finding products in their inventory that meet your criteria.

The chocolates mailed to me were well packaged, and in the box of my most recent purchase was included an ice pack (the goal being to ensure it arrived in pristine condition, which it did). I find many of the products are visually appealing (packaging and product itself) and are great for gifting.

Since my in-person visit, I've noticed via their social media account posts that they've installed a beautiful 'chocolate bar'! They also offer in-person special events. My favorites so far: London Chew, Forest, and Coracao Unsweetened Dark Chocolate with Vanilla. It's delicious to support this small business!

The Chocolate Dispensary is a hidden gem in the Echo Park area in LA. It carries the biggest selection of craft chocolate in the LA area imo. The owner Kala and her husband have a great passion for ethically sourced cacao and carry awesome taste for fine chocolate products. Either for treating yourself or for getting something special for your loved ones, The Chocolate Dispensary can satisfy your needs for sure!

Absolutely get the Blood Orange and Letterpress Mint bars. The store owner’s recommendations were on point and these exotic chocolates made for the perfect addition to my Valentine’s day gift.

My boo later proceeded to inhale the entire bar right before my eyes which truly a sight to witness.

Don't let the name fool you. This place is a chocolate boutique... actually that would have been a better name than dispensary. It has the most amazing tasting chocolates from all over the world. A lot of the packaging is pure art. I have been here a couple of times and the person working in the store is very friendly and knowledgeable. These chocolates would make great gifts but so far I have enjoyed them for myself. So happy to have this store in my neighborhood.

Absolutely love this place, it’s a chocolate heaven! The selection is amazing, whether you love white, dark, milk, or want to try something different and fun, they have it all. The drinking chocolate and coffee is also great. I love indulging in a cup of coffee and a delicious chocolate bar while sitting outside the store at the tables they have set out. The owner Kala is also fantastic and so knowledgeable, as well as the entire staff who are more than happy to give recommendations or help in any way. It’s such a fun place, and I’m so happy it’s in the neighborhood, love it!

This place is a GEM! Kala, the owner, takes such great care in the ethical sourcing of her products, and let me tell you: The chocolate featured here is absolutely INSANE. Getting to taste so many delicious treats from so many different parts of the world is such a delight for the senses, and I loved the whole experience of getting to explore (and TASTE lol) so many yummy and beautiful goodies. Highly recommend you stop in and treat yourself to some delicious and truly special chocolate that you won't be able to find anywhere else in LA!
