Love this little cottage. The food was good and the amount of food you get for the money is simply amazing. We enjoyed our breakfast, and our waitress was great as well.

Both my husband and I remembered the last time we came here, it was great.
Its... not... anymore.
We walked in and were gestured to a room. There was seating, but we were not seated.
Both my husband and I waited 15 minutes to order, and we both ordered the cottage special... it took 45 minutes for it to come out and my toast was cold. They didn't check on us once the entire time. The portion sizes are smaller. The food was unseasoned and undercooked.

The food sucks, the service sucks. I'm
disappointed. 2 stars because it's affordable.

Great food great service and a great price - honestly in a restaurant two out of three a bed butthree out of three is better. Most everything on the breakfast menu is under 12 bucks! I had their cottage special which was a chopped ham omelette, home potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Delicious. Wished I would've discovered the place sooner 😅😎

In Desert Hot Springs this is our regular breakfast spot once a month.

Restaurant staff are courteous & welcoming from the moment you walk in, people are kind and mindful of everyone's personal space.

Food is good for what you pay for, prices are hard to beat.

A breakfast for two people may cost you about 25 dlls and you still will have a to go box with leftovers to take home.

The place is cozy, warm vibes, it's been there for many many years (20yrs approximately) needs a little love if you ask me.
But yet again it's what gives it that nice cozy vibe(although after 30 mins the flat wood booths with worn out cushions start to hurt) lol

Coffee is a light roast, creamers are usually half and half.

My personal favorite the ham&eggs with potatoes
* Scalloped potatoes ( a bit charted)
*Eggs
*Toast (well buttered)
A side bottle with fresh salsa
Very mild 🔥

My lady had the Canadian bacon , avocado & cheese omelette with House fries,
Bleu cheese on the side.

Both had coffee, they refill you constantly.
And greeting you when you first arrive with water 💦 & silverware🍴

You pay at the cash register, where you will find a variety of candies ,mints, Mexican candy overall (brands famously found in Mexico) and a thing or two more ..🍭 🍬

Not your finest restaurant but a extremely homey and cute small town vibes restaurant that serves classic breakfast. We had huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, breakfast sando and a classic plate for group breakfast before stagecoach. Everything was good portions and filling. Had the half order of biscuits and gravy, it was one of the better biscuits and gravy that I have had. It is a small cozy breakfast establishment, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the prices were well within reason ($6 something for a half order) total was $25 w/ tip included. Hard to find a reasonably priced eatery nowadays. You would spend more at McDonald's for less food and quality.
