Pastries as yummy as beautiful!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon, knowing it would be crowded, so we decided to get our order to go.

📍The place: It's bright and well-lit, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual outing with your girls or your partner.

🧁 What we tried:

Tiramisu: It was fantastic, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced in flavor.

Berries and Cream Pastry: Very tasty, but quite sweet. The mousse inside seems to be white chocolate, which tends to be on the sweeter side.

🍩 Donut Chocolate Coconut: Amazing! I loved it, the coconut filling was really good.

🍩 Donut Signature Sprinkle: Good!

🍩 Donut Strawberries French Toast: Also good!

🙋‍♀️The service: The cashier was friendly and efficient, getting our order to us quickly.

🚗Parking: There's a parking lot available, though it's a bit small. We were still able to find a spot.

I’d definitely return to try more pastries as they all looked amazing.

Ok…like you, I had driven past this adorable Coffee/Dessert shop for one too many times. I thought parking would be a problem, not so, an entire multi story garage is 75 feet away. Then, as I walked in, I was like, these prices are going to be ridiculous… they were very reasonable for the decadent luxury that was my piece of ginormous cake. The cake is obviously meant to share. The coffee was fresh and delicious and a small carafe of cream came with it (Always a sign of good taste). I sat in one of a half dozen booths but the VERY long wooden table with media outlets ran the length of the cafe. Lots of delicious choices including the world’s largest Croissant! Delightful little spot! Service was great and all the girls were very helpful.

The Glass Knife is always a multi-sensory experience - it has that vibe of being a spot you just want to be in. Really cool vibe, every detail attended to. Lots of indoor and outdoor patio seating. Cute little shopping area as you enter of everything you could want from locally started Rifle paper company.
The glass case of desserts will leave you wanting to order everything! They are as delicious as they are beautiful. And the little touches that make this the complete experience - check out the box detail if you take something to go.
Great place to meet friends or pick up to go. Service is always “bend over backwards” accommodating. This really is a go-to, and I think they are opening a second location on Park Ave. Sure to be a hit.

Parking is easy with their attached parking lot. Bathrooms are beautiful.

My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich on croissant - one of the best chicken salads I’ve had. Well made coffee drinks with substitute milk options (we always opt for oatmilk)

You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Lunch can sometimes be crowded, so your table options may be limited. Go early if you want your choice of seating.

During a recent visit to Winter Park, we stumbled upon this charming spot. The exterior alone caught our attention, and after reading glowing reviews, we were eager to give it a try. Upon entering, the atmosphere was just as beautiful as we’d hoped—bright, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The presentation of the baked goods was impressive, and the little shop featured some lovely items for sale. One of the standout features was that they’re pet-friendly, which was a pleasant surprise—this is the first place I’ve seen that welcomes. Plus, the bathrooms were adorable, with a large mirror perfect for taking a few photos.

Unfortunately, our experience with the food didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by the ambiance. It’s possible we arrived later in the afternoon, but the donuts were disappointingly dry, stale and overly sweet—mainly tasting of sugar. My coffee, too, was served cold, which was a letdown.

However, there was one shining star on the menu: the hazelnut pastry (I believe that’s the name of it but for reference I put the picture). It was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors that wasn’t too sweet, allowing the richness of the flavors to really shine through. It was the highlight of my visit, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Overall, while the atmosphere and some offerings were lovely, I hope to return earlier in the day for a fresher experience with the baked goods and coffee.

Ever since I moved to Orlando and was recommended The Glass Knife, I have never found such a place to match the quality and taste of their desserts. When they started making custom cakes, I couldn’t wait to incorporate them for my special occasions. They have made the best custom cakes for my gender reveal, baby shower, and for my son’s first birthday. They have exceeded my expectations and brought my vision to life with their cakes. The flavor and design of the cakes are always the most talked about in our parties. Cake designer Ely Cortes and her team are extremely talented and professional. I look forward to starting the tradition of having a cake from The Glass Knife for all of life’s occasions. Highly recommend!

Such a cute spot!! The pink donut was everything I wanted. The avocado toast was almost amazing. Very filling. I loved the little gifts they had there too. Very cute for a catch up with friends.

A Slice of Sweet Perfection at The Glass Knife

From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The charming decor, with its adorable tables and delightful mini shop, creates a unique and captivating ambiance. The air itself is a sensory delight, a blend of comforting savory aromas and the irresistible sweetness of freshly baked goods.

Our visit was made even more memorable by our server, Aura. She was truly exceptional – personable, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a wonderful time.

I ordered the pimento cheese croissant, and it was a revelation. The croissant itself was a masterpiece, buttery, flaky, and perfectly moist. The combination of the creamy pimento cheese and the fresh avocado created a harmonious balance of flavors and textures, making each bite an absolute pleasure.

Of course, no visit to The Glass Knife is complete without indulging in their renowned desserts. I chose the carrot cake, and it exceeded all expectations. The cake was incredibly moist, and the frosting, thankfully, wasn't overly sweet. It was a perfect ending to a delightful meal.

The Glass Knife offers a truly special dining experience. From the enchanting atmosphere and welcoming aromas to the exceptional service and delectable food, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking a touch of sweetness and sophistication. Highly recommended!

Lively atmosphere, good espresso and machiato, even hot chocolate is good.

There is an open Patio for seating outside, open air. Good coffee and quick snack can be grabbed on the go or can be had here.

Why with colleagues after a grueling work day and was quite relaxing.
