Great place to go if you have a home improvement project with great pricing and staff, which has great quality products and supplies with great service to give you a hand. Supports military and is a blessing to have and be around! Great variety and options for every job and even more online to order straight to your door! Thanks for reading and God bless!!

My mother purchased a freezer on 9/18/24 from Home Depot in Opelika AL. She was asked if she needed it delivered, she’s 76 years old. She was charged $79 for local delivery and it was 7.1 miles to her house. The freezer was delivered on 9/19/24 by a U-haul and the driver put it on the front porch. She asked are you putting it inside for me because she was there alone. He said no, you paid for outdoor delivery. She was able to get a neighbor to get it in for her.
What in the world is happening? First of all there absolutely should not be a delivery charge for 7.1 miles. Second, she was never told about an alternative delivery method which would have taken longer but it would have been set up for her. To me, this is an example of big companies taking advantage of the elderly. I’m utterly disgusted with Home Depot in Opelika and I will take my business across the road to Lowe’s. Have a nice day.

Stop forcing self check out on your customers. Open registers. Just like Lowes. If I can't find a register open, I'll leave my stuff there in the cart and walk out the door. Let them pay someone to restock.

One guy working the rentals on a Sunday is ridiculous. Took an hour to get machine even with reservation, then it would not start. Waiting in line well into hour 2 to get some help.

I placed my order but waited 30 minutes to receive my item. The clerk kept me waiting without telling me how long I had to wait. Her name is karina and she seems like this girl's mental state is strange. I waited for 30 minutes but they didn't receive all my items and they said they don't have anything in stock at the moment. You need to properly train this staff.

Homedepot's friendly and accommodating attitude towards allowing dogs in the store and providing excellent customer service. They not only show kindness to their human customers, but also to our furry four-legged friends. This is a commendable practice that demonstrates their social responsibility and respect for their customers. I hope that more companies can learn from Homedepot's example and provide genuine care and respect for their customers.

Incredible staff that’s not only visible because they are actively working but they engage with customers providing assistance. First home depot where I’ve experienced this kind of customer support since the 1990’s. Specifically thank you to Roger, Tyler, Richard & Lacy, y’all are truly the only reason I made purchase’s.

I wasn’t able to find a product I needed. I approached the lady working the self checkout to show her my phone to ask for help. As I approached she was careful to avoid eye contact and as I was saying “Excuse me ma’am, where….” she jumped back and said “Sorry too close!”. Not, how may I help, not please give me a minute. It was so strange i just decided to leave. She was wearing a mask so I’m assuming she’s very concerned about illness. Understandable but why work in retail? When I said I thought that was a strange reaction she implied that my reaction was strange. Maybe so but she cured me of shopping at Home Depot in Opelika.
