These guys are awesome! I've purchased higher end bikes before and generally know what I want, so I drove down from Charlotte, NC to Athens, GA to visit the Hub and purchase a Trek Checkpoint from them - very happy with this decision.

Will and Jim answered my hundreds of questions and made sure to double check their answers on just a couple they knew but wanted to confirm (I appreciate that). It's clear these guys ride often themselves, Jim's bike was just behind the counter, so their knowledge and expertise was incredibly valuable.

I love this place! I don’t know anything about bikes at all and I needed help putting my front wheel back on my back. I realized that I was missing a part. I went to purchase one at Hub. They were beyond helpful!! The cashier/front desk lady asked me for help and guided me to what part I needed. Then the store owner (I think), found the part gave it to me and sent me on my way. It was so fast. They were beyond nice. They are super knowledgeable about bikes. All around great experience and they really know how to take care of their customers!

So what do you do on a Saturday when you local bike shop is temporarily closed & you really really wanna ride
You get on the phone and call the "nearest" qualified bike shop. Yep I was in Conyers and the The Hub Bicycles is in Athens. I called & talked to Jim.

My fix was simple, but it was a busy Saturday and I just knew I'd have to leave my bike for the repairs.... Was I ever wrong, Jim said he'd get me in & out as soon as he could. When I arrived Jim recognized my name & my bike's issues. Not only did he get me back on the road faster than I imagined, but he educated me about the issue and how to prevent them going further!

I highly recommend The Hub, Jim & his customer service oriented crew!! They were well worth the drive!!

I rented a mountain bike from the Hub during a trip to Athens to visit my brother. Excellent communication and service before, during, and after my rental. Jim and Sarah took the time to make sure my bike was ready and to answer any questions that I had about riding in the area. Highly recommended shop that is well stocked and clean and beautiful right in the heart of downtown Athens. Chapeau!

Sarah was AWESOME to work with on Saturday. She helped this 'bike novice' get set up with the appropriate bike & accessories. Brian performed the first service on my new bike. Brian was super informative with teaching me the steps with disassembly, cleaning, and reassembling of the components. Service was performed on the headset, bottom bracket, and swingarm to IsoStrut mounting fasteners. The Hub Bicycles is a positive environment with a welcoming atmosphere. I'm so blessed to have found The Hub as my bike shop that I can trust and looks out for my best interest! I was recently in a bad bicycle accident and they have gone above and beyond to help me repair and get my mountian bike put back together so I can get back on the trail. Brian has been amazing with communication to what I would need and gave me options as well to think about to make the best decision regarding my bike. Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful!
