Friend recommended this place and the fireweed + honey and banana cream pie or anything with berries were our favorites. Definitely on the pricey end though

Stopped by for an evening dessert after dinner. There were about 5 people in line, but it was moving quickly. There were a couple of employees who were efficiently serving everyone in line.

There were probably 30-35 flavors on the menu with some being locally made, Vegan, and no sugar added. With the ice cream, you can have it in a cone, cup, milkshake, malt, smoothie, or a sundae. You're able to pick a flavor for each scoop. Ordered a double scoop and they were nice enough to ask which scoop I wanted on the bottom. Ice cream was very good as it was soft, smooth, and creamy. There's limited seating inside, so most sat outside on the brick planters. Good ice cream served by friendly and efficient staff.

This place is stingy. They weighed all of our ice cream cones before handing them to us. They also charge you extra for sugar cones when it’s already a small overpriced $5.50 scoop and won’t let you try two flavors in a single scoop like most other ice cream shops. The price would be more justified if they made their own ice cream but alas they don’t, it’s all imported from elsewhere.

This is a must, and we always stop here whenever we travel south past girdwood. Usually, on the way back into town. We really like the flavors they offer, and the fireweed ice cream is one you should try at least once. I tried the banana pie in a waffle cone, and the flavors went well together!
I sadly didn't take any pictures because i was too excited to eat the ice cream... I forgot to take at least one picture.

The shop isn't that big though, so if it's crowded, there's not a lot of room. They do have to tell some people to wait outside if it gets too crowded, and i can understand why. They used to have seating on the inside, but as it is a very popular store, they had to move some of their seating outside. I don't find anything wrong with that, though, because i am just happy to have some ice cream ?
