My experience has been “thee best” two times around selecting a dress. This is the second time I came to “The Perfect Dress”, within a small window, to find a Mothers of the Bride dress, and I was not disappointed. The dress selection along with the sale rack were superb. Faith was absolutely wonderful and made my shopping dress experience fun. She was very personable and knowledgeable. She felt like a friend that I needed to help me make my decision. Never rushed me at all. Not to mention she was “so patient” as I was in between two dresses and not sure which one to pick. I think I was driving my husband nuts trying them on numerous times , 3x over again. Faith, in meantime, enjoyed our bantering. The 1st store, and I didn’t need to look anywhere else. I said yes to the dress!! Thank you Faith and Thank you to the friendly staff. You’re all terrific.

Her name alone spoke volumes, embodying the very essence of peace, kindness, and compassion. From the moment we began the fitting and search process, she made every step feel personal and meaningful. Faith’s gentle guidance and genuine care turned what could have been a simple dress appointment into a truly memorable and intimate moment. Her compassion in helping me & my mother sort through my vision of what my dream dress would be like brought ease. I felt seen, heard, and cherished throughout the entire experience. If you’re looking for a ‘first class’ bridal shop & alterations, you’ve found The Perfect Dress in Sarasota! We like to sincerely thank the professional staff, and most talented seamstress, Teresa for helping us. So grateful the staff worked together and took their time to assist my daughter with her bridal gown dilemma. We were fortunate to have found Teresa, as she made an exception to make the necessary corrections and repaired my daughter’s gown after another business (seamstress) nearly ruined her dress. Typically, they would only make alterations to gowns they sell, nor do they repair someone else’s work. Instead, they sympathized and understood the ordeal we were faced with just 10 days before her wedding day. We can’t recommend and speak highly enough about Teresa, and the entire staff of The Perfect Dress. THEY TRULY SAVED THE DAY!

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish at The Perfect Dress. From making the reservation to meeting Faith, our consultant, trying on the gowns to picking the winner. We were warmly welcomed and professionally attended to. We left with a dress and a smile on our faces. Faith provided experienced advice, which we welcomed and explained the process of alterations, adding straps, bustling and even suggested the proper jewelry. My niece lives in Wisconsin but Faith encouraged Sophia to use her as a sounding board all the way to the wedding. Just an amazing store.

This bridal shops commitment to top-tier customer service. I was surprised they weren't closing with the storm coming.
The waiting area is cute. We were offered water while waiting (we arrived 30 minutes early). My mom and I were able to flip through the dresses and start picking what I'd like to try on.
Faith was my bridal assistant and was very sweet. She didn't she me anything out of my budget. Though I'd say the store isn't budget friendly. I'd guess the average price is $2,400. There was one i absolutely loved and wished I had asked to buy the floor model, but i found a similar one at a different store about 1200 less. The store has an amazing selection in styles and sizes as well.
The store has a line you can only find there - serena Valentina (I think this was the one?).
There was another bridal in there trying on dresses by herself, and we had a great time commenting on each other's dresses.
The only thing that was a little off was the lights, with the light coming through the high windows. It could be a little off depending on how dark the clouds were from the storm. You can probably see in the photos.

Today we had faith help me pick out my perfect dress. She was able to nail my ideas and image perfectly. Little did I know the second dress she had me try on was the one! She was very insightful but not over pressuring. She truly wanted to make sure I picked the dress I wanted. Thank you faith!

Going into this experience, I had no intention of purchasing a dress on that day.

It was my first time trying dresses on and I wanted to see styles that I liked before buying anything.

That’s when Faith came in (her name being even more prevalent to the experience).

She chose dresses in the style I liked, was so informative and non-judgmental through the entire process. She was truly a dream.

One of the dresses was discontinued, last on the rack and marked down so much because it had never fit anyone correctly, but she had “faith” in it still.

Long story short, the dress fit me like a glove and I said YES to my dress while wearing it. She (and other coworkers) couldn’t believe the dress fit so naturally - it was as if it had waited for me all this time.

I’ll never forget this day and the experience that Faith gave to me as a woman getting married.
