I had my eye on this store for some time and finally had the chance to check out this adorable boutique and gift store during the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market. In business for nine years, it is located a few doors down from Oakland Park City Hall. There are a lot of cool businesses, restaurants, and breweries in this strip.

The Wanderer Shop is the creation of Marisa Folz. After years of working out of Airstream trailers and a store front in Flagler Village, she opened this store in Oakland Park in May of 2021. The store name and eclectic inventory was inspired by Folz's travels.

The store is thoughtfully arranged with two rooms of pastel hued clothing for men, women, and kids, accessories, house and home goods, and carefully curated gifts that are sure to delight their recipients. I loved the Florida Sunshine candle, colorful bags, and fun jewelry. When you need a special gift consider supporting a small business like The Wander Shop.

My absolute FAV. I refuse to shop anywhere else. I truly have never loved a store more than this one. Marisa and her mom Pam are beyond incredible at pulling outfits they know you’ll love and look flattering in. The fashion is so ahead/on trend no matter what type of event you have to go to…she will have something for you. I also love that they have so much for my kids and even some fun stuff for my husband too! I’ll never love a store more. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

This is my go to store whenever I need a new outfit! Marisa (the owner) and her fabulous mother, Pam, always make me feel like a celebrity whenever I come in to shop. They recommend outfits I wouldn’t think of picking up myself but always end up loving. The eye that Marisa has for unique, stylish, and fun pieces is what makes me continue coming back. The energy in the shop is so fantastic and so warm and inviting.

My niece recommended this boutique. I stopped in and was greeted by a very friendly salesperson, Hailey.
Hailey was amazing.

This boutique has such a great variety. I bought myself a few outfits, a really nice shirt for my husband and the cutest outfits and bathing suit for my 18 month old granddaughter.

I have found my new favorite boutique in Ft Lauderdale!
