First and foremost I want to dispense with the historic reviews I've read indicating certain practices as deceptive or negative. Not to defend them BUT . . . like any other business they are there to be profitable selling used vehicles.

Pricing. So if you do any basic research you can see the difference between their price and those at a dealership is actually par except for the fact THEY don't advertise a vehicle at $1,500 - $2,500 less than it actually costs (just to get you in the door) then adding dealer fees you read in very tiny print at most if not all dealerships so they are not inflating prices - just giving the actual up front price without tax and tags. To me this is actually the opposite of deceptive. No surprises.

Second, cars are likely to have issues regardless of best practices of mechanics looking them over and most people know that even mechanics will admit - until it fails you don't know . . . it's not deceptive unless it's something obvious or that has shown symptoms and then those symptoms are ignored or purposely hidden - which is very very difficult to get away with without an awful lot of legal actions/ suits and recorded complaints by BBB over 20 years.

Cars can and will have unexpected and serious issues regardless of best maint.and inspection. So it's actually not realistic to think you can buy any car - including a brand new one - that will have no issues for years. Some issues can't even be diagnosed unless the mechanic actually sees, hears and drives the car for long distance or at operational temps . . . and even then it could go UN-diagnosed without expensive testing for hours. So buying a car is always a roll of the dice especially used ones.

Lastly, I have driven past this dealership for 20+ years before stopping by and buying a vehicle from them. You do not stay in business under the same name and location if you rip people off. Deductive reasoning plus BBB confirmation led me to believe they can be trusted, and I did, and do. Easy online research search can reveal their pricing is on par and . . . actual / purposeful sale of lemons is unlikely with an onsite service center and offer to warranty the sale. I'll roll the dice with this dealership any day over others.

All comes down to trust, I trust this dealer and will continue to buy from them when I need a used car. Better than a dealership experience or fly by night dealer who changes location and name every few years due to actual deceptive practices. I've also noticed by merely searching . . . .that they read, respond and explain in detail - every review they get - meaning they care. Not something an actual deceptive dealer cares about - reputation.
