Thriftee has a nice deli with tables to sit and eat. At. I bought three baked chicken legs, corn and a chocolate chip cookie! Delish! All that und 4 bucks. Hurry down before they realize they haven’t changed prices since the 80s. It’s oval owned, money stays in town and service is outstanding! Eat at the The Thriftee deli daily. It’s cheaper than cooking at home.

I haven't been here in awhile but have been more intentional about shopping local. The service was great, no waiting in lines, they have such a great variety and we found things other stores didn't have available. I highly recommend shopping here.

Anytime I make it to Thriftee, I'm so impressed on how clean,organized and especially seeing how Jake and Jo Jo are present and how their employees family and not are on point!!

I use to shop there all the time cause they were really reasonable on prices now it way higher than other stores so I don't shop there much anymore. It use to be thrifty but not anymore. Sorry loved it there too,always friendly crashers & floor people .

I have no complaints. They don't carry everything I buy. So I go here for specific things and save the large lists for elsewhere. But what I do get from thriftys no one else in town carries. A specific brand of hot pickles that my wife loves. Near impossible to get elsewhere. So for that I give them 5 stars.

Probably one of the oldest grocery stores in Safford, however still one of the best. The big chain stores all huddle together across town a few miles on the west side of Safford. Thriftee is centrally located almost downtown and has a massive parking lot for easy in and out.

They constantly update the store so that it is pleasing to the shopper. If you have any questions, the super helpful staff is always ready to serve. Thriftee has an excellent meat department, too.

Don't shop here because it's great till you have one problem. Then it's all downhill from there. The owner really shouldn't put their manager on speaker for you to hear about their "low quality" product. That was straight from the managers mouth.
