A huge souvenir shop near the port. Our last port of call during our Alaska cruise in May 2024. There is a huge bear display when you enter. Various range of souvenirs both local and overseas. They are key chains, magnets; Alaska socks, t-shirt, jackets, caps. Also soft toys, Alaska jewellery, smoke salmon, salmon spreed, salmon jerky. Sweets chocolate and many others stuffs. I bought some smoke salmon home as gifts. However, I subsequently realised it was cheaper on the ship. Haha?

My family and I stopped to shop here back in 2019 during our Alaska Cruise. I was impressed with the selection and the prices in my opinion.

I made the vast majority of my purchases on this cruise at this location during the stop in Ketchikan. The boardwalk will basically take you all the way from where your cruise ship is docked all the way to Tongass Trading Company. So prepare to walk a fair bit.

My whole family also bought clothing, souvenirs etc. The service was efficient and courteous.

Ketchikan offers a plethora of Alaskan souvenirs, but many are inauthentic and feature generic designs that can be found in other ports. This is why Ketchikan is often considered the shopping hub for Alaska cruisers. As one of the first or last stops in Alaska, it boasts numerous gift shops, and one of the prominent ones is Tongass Trading Company, which even has multiple outlet locations. They offer a wide range of souvenir items and promote themselves as a 'shortcut' to Berth 4, though it's important to note that you can bypass the shop by strolling along the boardwalk. If you purchase clothing in Ketchikan on your cruise's first stop, be prepared for disappointment in the subsequent ports, as they may carry the same designs with the city name swapped out. If you don't mind the repetitive designs, just consider switching them up with each port you visit!

We stopped in to browse for souvenirs. As our first real stop in Alaska, we were thrilled to feel like we were on vacation. Great selection.wonderful time shopping. Even did some Christmas shopping.

Shop every other location before you do business with the store here I was sold a used heater with damaged package and taped from the store needed to return the item as I was unable to use it and they refused to return the money I then started shopping around for a heater that would work for me and found the same item I purchased from them dirty and used new in the store next door but it was full price but yet it was 30 dollars cheaper than the same thing but on sell and now I feel ripped off by the shady out of country owned store and I have been robbed like that before but it is usually a shady road side stand point blank ripped off two ways to Sunday shop anywhere around and save your self the loss literally sold me a used heater for thirty dollars more than the other guy and because I was nice and took the damaged box I got screwed over I guess you don't get what you give as I honor the way people see me so I was told they forgot to charge me for the heater in the first place and so I paid the bill and didn't have to ask I was already home and I wasn't sure but trusted them now I'm wandering if they ripped me off then as well ya
