I don't get to this area often but found this Ace by accident. It is very well stocked and has more specialty pieces than any of the big box retailers. In addition to the main store the have a back room where they do screening and a back yard area that has some outdoor items and larger items like conduit pipes. If you can find it at the big guys this is worth the drive!

The guys over at the Stihl department are truly amazing. I brought my fogger in for repair in the middle of busy season and they got me going again same day. My business and I truly cannot thank them enough

I visited the store to purchase a Yeti cooler to store my grandbaby's bottle for a beach trip and the employees first failed to acknowledge we were there. Then when I proceed to ask for help due to the coolers being behind the counter, the gentleman was very rude. I will never visit this location again. I went 5 miles up the road and purchased my cooler from another company.

I want to give a big shout out to Brian in the Stihl Shop. My Stihl blower locked up tight today and I figured it had blown the engine. I took it to Brian and he checked it out and found it was a loose screw that had locked the engine up. He fixed in a matter of a few minutes and got me going again. Thanks to Brian for getting me going on short order. Brian is a top-notch employee and I appreciate his expertise and great help. Thanks, Phil Cross.

Ace Hardware is such a wonderful place to shop, their associates are always so eager to help you, you don’t have to search for help, they find you! And their products have so much to offer at great prices! I highly recommend Ace Hardwate to everyone!

I usually go to Home Depot or Lowe’s hardware, but today I went to both these places to look for propane in preparation for a hurricane that’s brewing off the coast of Florida. Both Home Depot and Lowes in my area were completely sold out of propane as they usually are.

A friend told me to go to the ACE hardware in Wintergarden off Dillard Street. I was amazed at how well-prepared this small hardware store was.

There were dozens of people lined up to get propane, and every single one of them was able to get filled.

Upon entering the store, I noticed they were fully stocked on batteries, water, and other essentials.

The staff was super helpful and even took some bags of salt for my water softener to my car.

Based on what I saw today, I will make the switch and continue shopping here.

I love Bray Hardware. Staff is always great and aim to please. Today they were slammed with filling propane tanks before the storm.

I’ve been a loyal Ace Hardware customer for over 15 years, but my recent experience has me questioning if I’ll return. I purchased four boxes of LED tree lights on a “buy 2, get 1 free” sale, but they didn’t work for my needs. When I returned all four, I was refunded only $13—far less than what I had paid.

When I raised the issue, the manager, Troy, asked, “Why did you only buy four?”—which was irrelevant since that’s all I needed. The associate handling the return was visibly annoyed and kept insisting the refund was “prorated,” even though I returned everything. It took 20 minutes of back-and-forth before Troy partially resolved the issue, but I still felt dismissed and treated like I was the problem.

This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I’ve always appreciated Ace for its customer service, but this was far from the standard I’ve come to expect.
