Giving them 1 star is generous. They are unethical and shady. They have refused to work with me to make the property I am leasing safe for myself and my young child AND want to charge me exorbitant fees for breaking the lease legally. Don't do business with them. Don't rent from them.

The absolute WORST property managers ever!!!!!! I felt so very bad for our actual landlord. Things in the home just were not taken care of. John and Joann, the owners of Tradegroup Management are very rude and unhelpful! If we ever treated customers the way they do we would be out of business!

Upon move in we opened the apartment and found that the water had been shut off, so clearly this needed to be remedied. Also we went through a walk through and the place had not been cleaned at all! There was stains, big stains on the carpet, pillows and mattresses. We were promised that these would be cleaned and of course John and Joann could not take care of it, even though they told us every three months that they were going to take care of it, and had the audacity to actually charge us upon move out!!! As far as no water goes John said he would pay for a hotel but would not exceed a certain limit and actually told me that I shouldn't take advantage of him and go stay somewhere fancy. Then our original lease agreement stated that water was included. I reminded him of this and he told me not to take advantage of him and take long showers or baths all the time because they are paying for water!!! I just don't understand why you would treat tenants this way!!

We were told that this was a turn key completely furnished rental. Of course I called ahead to the property managers prior since we were moving from phoenix to la jolla to see if we needed to bring sheets and towels. He told us everything was there. I must say that upon move in he did not have an inventory of what was in the home so he really had no clue. So we bought sheets, towels, silverware and glasses. Upon move out we left the silverware and glasses for a future tenant and John and Joann actually charged us $107.00 for removal of these items that we left!

Throughout our stay when we would resign leases John would never send us copies, so we never had signed copies on file. We had to go to their office once to resign and Joann excused herself to go smoke a cigarette because she was stressed out!! They did not get back to us EVER even when we put in requests for things to get fixed such as the dryer, garbage disposal and hot water for the showers. We took it upon ourselves to replace the garbage disposal so the sink wouldn't overflow and ruin the landlords floor, and of course John and Joann were actually upset about this and said we didn't follow protocol!! How can you follow protocol when they don't follow through with ANYTHING that they are supposed to do as property managers!

All is know is I would NEVER NEVER NEVER rent any apartment with Tradegroup Management!! Furthermore if I was a landlord I would NEVER use Tradegroup Management for fear of them ruining my home! Thank goodness our landlord realized how awful they were after we moved out and she switched management groups!! I hope she has better luck because her home is gorgeous and should be looked after by a management group that actually cares.

I WOULD NOT HIRE THEM AGAIN.. THEY QUIT ON OUR "HOA" WITHOUT NOTICE.. THEY DON'T LIKE TO ANSWER OUR "QUESTION'S".. TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS.. YOU HAVE BEEN "WARNED'
