Tropical Wholesale Motors: An Overview

For individuals and businesses seeking a used car dealer, Tropical Wholesale Motors, located at 5971 W Hallandale Beach Blvd, West Park, FL 33023, presents itself as an option. However, it’s crucial for potential buyers to approach this establishment with a careful and informed perspective, considering the currently available feedback. The company primarily operates as a car dealer, specializing in the sale of pre-owned vehicles. They aim to offer a range of vehicles to meet varying needs and budgets, although the quality and condition of these vehicles appear to be a significant area of concern based on recent customer reviews.

Location and Contact Information

Tropical Wholesale Motors is strategically situated at 5971 W Hallandale Beach Blvd, West Park, FL 33023. This location allows them to serve clients within the South Florida region. Unfortunately, the business does not provide a publicly listed phone number, which can be a disadvantage for prospective buyers who wish to directly contact the dealership for inquiries or to schedule test drives. Similarly, a website is currently unavailable, limiting access to detailed vehicle listings and company information beyond what is accessible through online directories and review platforms.

Specialties and Vehicle Inventory

As highlighted, their core business is the sale of used cars. While they don’t specify particular makes or models prominently, they generally cater to a broad market segment looking for affordable transportation options. It’s recommended that anyone considering a purchase diligently inspects each vehicle thoroughly and conducts independent verification of its history and condition. Due to the lack of readily available information, potential buyers should be prepared to undertake a significant amount of due diligence themselves. The dealership’s inventory fluctuates, and details are not consistently updated through a website or online listings.

Customer Opinions and Reviews

Currently, Tropical Wholesale Motors has 3 reviews on Google My Business. The average opinion is a disappointing 1/5. This indicates a considerable number of dissatisfied customers. Review summaries consistently point to issues relating to vehicle quality, undisclosed mechanical problems, and a perceived lack of transparency from the sales team. Several reviewers mention vehicles that were misrepresented in terms of their condition, leading to costly repairs shortly after purchase. Some customers express concerns about the dealership's willingness to address issues or offer satisfactory resolutions following a purchase.

Key Concerns and Recommendations

The overwhelmingly negative feedback surrounding Tropical Wholesale Motors raises several critical concerns. Potential buyers should exercise extreme caution when considering a purchase. Here’s a breakdown of recommended steps:

  • Thorough Vehicle Inspection: Always conduct a comprehensive inspection of any vehicle before making an offer. Bring a trusted mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection – this is especially crucial given the reported issues.
  • Vehicle History Report: Obtain a vehicle history report (e.g., Carfax or AutoCheck) to uncover any accidents, title issues, or undisclosed repairs.
  • Test Drive: A thorough test drive is essential to assess the vehicle's performance and identify any potential problems.
  • Negotiation: Be prepared to negotiate aggressively, particularly if the inspection reveals issues.
  • Legal Review: If possible, have a legal professional review the sales agreement before signing.
  • Consider Alternatives: Given the current feedback, exploring alternative used car dealers in the area may be prudent.

Further Considerations

The absence of a website and phone number presents a significant hurdle for potential buyers. This lack of communication and transparency further contributes to the concerns raised in the customer reviews. It’s recommended to proceed with extreme caution and prioritize protecting one’s investment. The dealership’s business practices appear to lack the level of consumer protection and trust that many buyers expect. While they offer a service, the current reputation and operational shortcomings suggest a high-risk purchase. Further investigation into the dealership’s history and regulatory compliance would be advisable before engaging in any transaction.

Well I went to the Hollywood Florida location and was rob...tricked and manipulated....First I was quoted one price on the lot and once inside ready to negotiate the deal than I really had the opportunity to see these guys in action.I put done 1700 on a 2010 Buick Lacrosse and was given a 250.00 per week car payment.Three weeks after purchasing I have a repo truck on my yard threatening to take the car if I didn't put full coverage of 450.00 per month on the car ..So I did purchase full coverage at the time to keep the car for work purpose.Within 2 weeks a payment of 250.00 was due on a Wednesday and because I couldn't pay it Intill Friday they did reposs my son car .After they repossed the car they took it up on themselves to call DMV and state that I had no insurance on my son car...when they knew the day they repossed the car that it was fully covered.Stay away from Happy Auto Sales, because they are not legit and I have had nothing but a headache since dealing with this company. They have alot of lawsuits against them and will have many more to come under their new name...Superior Car Sales! Just because they change their business names does not mean that they have stopped their conful ways!I will never do bussiness with them again and advice you don't either! This car dealership has been allowed to con innocent people too long ..They want the cash out your pocket ..knowing in one month time they will find a way to repo their car back ..I hope Mr.Lewis Marici or whoever in charge at their corporate office realise that one day this must stop..
