This is a different type of cheesecake, it's Japanese cheesecake. Fluffy cake texture and not a American cheesecake texture but it is cheesy tasting with flavor. I personally like it but it is a different cheesecake.

Japanese cheesecakes was light and fluffy more like Angel food cake. Not too sweet. Very moist since Japanese cheesecake is cooked by steam. Cashier was friendly and courteous. She explained the different treats. Too bad they don't sell coffee with the cakes.

American cheesecakes are dense creamy, sweet, butter and baked.

I'm so glad they made a closer location near me. We fell in love with the one in Arcadia. I tried the limited edition cherry blossom flavor a couple weeks ago. My favorite is still the original and ube flavors.

If you’re looking for something different to put on your dessert table or to gift to a friend, Uncle Tetsu’s fluffy Japanese cheesecakes is a great treat. It comes in a variety of flavors and is affordable.

I absolutely love the delicate texture. Unlike the American cheesecakes that are dense and creamy, Japanese cheesecakes are super light and fluffy, and the flavors are subtle. They have a slight jiggle to them and each cake comes with Uncle Tetsu branded on top of the cake. They also have seasonal stamps, including birthday branding when placing a pre-order.

The cakes only come in one size but they also offer cheese tarts. I have only tried their Original Cheese Tart and the flavor was good; however, the filling wasn’t set solid. I’m not sure if that’s how they usually are but I’ve only ordered it once.

I’ve enjoyed the service from the staff here and they are always super friendly. They were very helpful during my first visit. And the space is very clean - as it should be!

They also have a stamp card where you get rewarded a free cheesecake after x-amount of cheesecakes purchased. I’ve brought these as gifts when visiting friends or family, and they were always a hit!

Anytime I’m in the area, I try to come here and purchase at least a cake. I love the Coffee flavor the best but it’s only available as a seasonal item. My next favorite is Ube, which is available year-round. It’s just so good! And I think it looks the most attractive. I also enjoyed the Strawberry and Oreo cakes. I have yet to try seasonal flavors like Yuzu and Pandan Coconut.

Overall, Uncle Tetsu cheesecakes make great gifts. I always think the best gifts are yummy treats, and these are perfect for Nurses Week or Teachers Week - or for just any day of the week!

Uncle Tetsu was slow at the time we went but nonetheless the staff was super nice and welcoming. Let us take a moment to choose and then offered a free sample of one of their flavors that they have going on currently. I got the ube cheesecske which was not super sweet and had a slight nuttiness to it which I enjoyed. Got some cookies as well which i wouldn’t get again just because they’re too sweet for my liking. Also a cheese tart which was surprisingly tasty despite me not really liking cream cheese. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area

This place was very interesting. I think the logo is so cute and the packaging of the cakes are matched in adorableness. I ordered the oreo cheesecake and it was good. I had a sample of the original and it was good too. I recommend sharing. it's a good sized cake for 13$.

Came here twice with my wife and my brother in law. The Ube cake was my favorite. It is a very light and creamy texture for anyone who hasn’t had cheesecake like this before. Pretty different but the flavors are great! The green cake was a coconut and something else. Also very good. Definitely recommend giving it a try. Also, it’s big enough for 3 to 4 people as a dessert or snack.
