We have stayed here in the past and look forward to returning each time. We find it the best accommodation and location, love the walkability to town and the beach, the heated pool. We appreciate the cleanliness of our unit and the property itself. The staff is helpful and professional as well as friendly. This is truly our "go to" place when in the Venice area.

This was our 20th year at the Venice Beach Villas, and our longevity there should speak for itself. The best thing they have going for them is location: three blocks from one of the town's many uncrowded beaches, two blocks from the quaint downtown area with its shops and more than a dozen restaurants (most with outdoor dining options). And the entrance to a beautiful park with live oaks, giant banyan trees and lots of benches is right across the street. This is an older facility but well-maintained. New efficient and quiet HVAC systems were installed four years ago and the bathroom showers were upgraded last year. The swimming pool is relatively large and adequately heated. Bicycles, beach chairs and shark tooth-hunting equipment are available free of charge. The housekeeping and office staff are diligent and friendly. We plan to return as long as we are able.

Unit 6 of this villa is decent and captures the charm of its location. The staff is excellent, and the place is clean and well-maintained. The units are small, about 300 square feet, and feel cramped when the weather keeps you indoors. The kitchenette is well-stocked with all the necessary hardware. The bathroom is small but clean, with a new shower tile update. The bedroom has a dresser and a nightstand. We’re accustomed to firmer mattresses, so it took a couple of nights to adjust.
Since the buildings are old, sound can easily travel between units. However, it’s quiet at night. During our 17-day stay, the temperature reached 75 degrees Fahrenheit, so the air conditioner was too quick to cool down the small space. It could only run briefly or make the room freezing cold. As a result, high humidity was constant, and my wife’s hair became wild. The dehumidifier mode was ineffective, and we always noticed a faint, unpleasant smell whenever we entered the unit.
This was our first time in Venice, and we thoroughly enjoyed the village vibe. The walkability score is excellent, with a solid 100. There’s a great beach nearby, and there’s also community yoga on the shore. The downtown area offers a variety of food and shops.

The owners and staff have thought of it all! We were in town for business and stayed for a long weekend. My husband and I were greeted at the desk with a quick and friendly check-in and then given a tour of the facilities before entering Unit 3 (an efficiency apartment with separate bedroom). ||We rented an EV car, so being able to charge was a great advantage! We enjoyed the heated pool, took a long bike ride around the island (helmets and locked provided too), and spent time going through the in-unit binder of the local history and dining establishments in Venice. There were lovely snowbirds staying from Europe that we enjoyed meeting. ||The location was perfect for walking to everything even the Friday night park concerts and the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market is next store each week. ||We did not use the Laundry Rm, but it was clean and had a small Library section for borrowing books. They even had beach chairs, coolers, and shark tooth sifters - just about everything you could need for a great stay! We can’t wait to return!

This was our 3rd stay at Venice Beach Villas and there' will certainly be more. The staff, the accommodations and the location are 5 star. A beautiful heated pool or a couple blocks walk to the beach are there for your pleasure. The quaint town of Venice is a short walk for your dining and gifting convenience. On Saturday's there is a craft market set up across the street. Extra this year was an art show on Sunday. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Had a wonderful weeks visit!!! Walked few short blocks to Venice beach, downtown and the Catholic church!!! Our Villa was so comfortable and nice. Definitely returning soon! So close to downtown and all the fun things and restaurants that Venice offers!

Meticulously clean, friendly service, and very comfortable furnishings. The buildings are old Florida style, which we love. Bathrooms and kitchens are updated so everything works well. There’s not a bad room in the whole complex, they face toward the pool and none are more than thirty yards away. Pool is sparkling clean and BIG, with free use of shared pool toys for the kids. We rented a golf cart and there’s a charging station for it right up front. We used it to shop, tour the island, and go to the beach. The beach is just a couple blocks easy walk or ride. We’ve already made reservations to go back!
