Born & Raised right here in the Sarasota area. I’ve been going to this food mart for 10+ years, & the staff has always treated me with respect and kindness.

Out of all the little food marts that seem shady on the side of the road? I promise you, The Venice Food mart is always welcoming. The staff inside are very nice, and are happy to get items off the shelfs

Won't be going there anymore. I asked for marlboro black one hundreds. She didn't like the price so she rang in the shorts and said same.price. no the 100's say a dollar off that's why it was different . I miss Neal the original owner

I've always liked this place. The gentleman at the register is always pleasant. Cigarette prices are low too! Too bad I've moved to Sarasota. But it was nice visiting last time I went to Venice! Brought back fond memories of my house that a loser now lives in.☹️

I have never ever been treated so badly before. I stepped outside to use my vape I just purchased there and it didn't work so I tried to charge it and it didn't work.. I go back inside they said I needed to open it in the store. The lady behind the counter would not exchange it... That is bs.. I just spent $35 in thier store... Never ever again will I refer people nor go back. That is horrible customer service. God knows what they just did. They have to answer to him for treating people like that. God bless to who ever read this.

As I rushed to get everything ready before Hurricane Irma it was almost impossible to find anywhere that was open. Luckily they were open here. To my surprise one of the guys who worked here went out of his way to help me find things and even recommend me different wines to try. I felt very welcomed in, which isn't something you expect from a corner store. Will be coming back when I need something again! Great location as well.
